It's been a slow burn. I'm only 4 episodes into it. It has the potential to be interesting but I'm worried that the slow burn complexities of the story might go unfulfilled or have unsatisfactory endings.  The show setting, costume design, and some of the locations are really good. The acting is mostly good too, sometimes these shows can be very cheesy but this one has a more serious tone.

I've never read the books so I'm tempted to stop watching the show and read them instead.
