This is my idea. I want a small group, no more than four people. This does not need to be any kind of pairing. That is you can have some smut going on, and I like it to be there, but does not have to be. The story is more important to me.

I have my Captain, a feisty Irish Lass who is more Viking than anything. She is a tall redhead with green eyes and a complex quirky personality.

For reference, there have been many lady pirates.

Kyla O'Maille will be my Irish pirate. Her father a merchant seaman who took his wife and young daughter to the new world in 1689. He made it to the American colonies and began a profitable run of molasses from the sugar cane plantations in the Caribbean to the New England coast. As a British trader he was given the privilege to do this trade. But other countries also desired this profitable commerce. In 1694, his ship was sunk off the coast of Cuba by the Spanish Armada. The war between Britain and Spain vascillated back and forth for many years, with the civilians suffering the most.

Kyla was forced to help her widowed mother to earn a living. Grace was unwilling to let Kyla be forced into the streets as a prostitute. Her only recourse was to dress her as a male and have her do work as a messenger or laborer. The young girl, fourteen at the time of her father's death, took well to playing a boy. She grew strong and capable, taking training as an swordsman and an archer. When her mother died of consumption, she left Kyla the only thing she had saved from her husband, Kyla's father. It was a miniature painting of his ship. Kyla loved the idea of sailing, and at age sixteen, she managed to convince a Captain Jones to take her on as a cabin boy. Her father's legacy and early training on his ship made her a natural.

She learned enough to become a very competent sailor. Rising through the ranks of the merchant fleet until she was offered a position of First Mate to a Captain Briggs. She was saving her money to buy a ship some day. The job paid well. She is now 18 and trying to remain disguised as a man. It is becoming increasingly difficult.

The story I want to do could involve Kyle (as she calls himself) having to deal with a Captain finding out he is a SHE!

I would like another woman to act as Kyla's friend. A man to play some parts as:

1. A Captain of a ship who finds out the young man he hired is a woman. This can be a legitimate merchant or a Colonial military ship under the British King George. (This is pre- American Revolution)

2. A Captain of a rival ship or a military ship that is chasing the pirates, or a foreign ship, (Spanish, French or Dutch all active in the New Colonies)

I would like to keep this number to no more than three others besides myself. Also I would like a daily post from all interested. I hate group threads that start out all excited and then die a week later. Be committed to doing this!! At the very least three times a week.

Post here if you are interested and give me your ideas on what you would like to see happen.

While I love the basic idea- and even have a character orphaned from another game elsewhere- I can't in good conscience commit to posting every day. Neither my brain nor my schedule are so accommodating, alas.

I wish you the best of luck with it, though!

I would like to see a guy who would be comfortable playing someone like this image. A wealthy gentleman pirate. Likes nice clothing and is clean shaven and confident.
