Enhancing the Dice Roller
« on: February 28, 2015, 07:39:33 AM »
I was wondering if it might be possible to enhance the dice roller to allow custom dice.

That is, user-defined faces on a die, and the object that appears on those faces. I'm imagining this could be entered on an input table. When "rolled" the dice roller would return the object(s) that appeared on the face(s) rolled.

This would be especially helpful for running dice games that don't use standard pip dice on the CH&WB board.

I've done this in other languages with a 'case if' or a call table.  Don't know CMS, but that's the thing that pops to mind.
