Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud

Just curious if any one else has read any books from the Bartimaeus Triology and wondered what it would really be like if you had the power to summon djinn and making scrying glasses and such ;)

Do you really think you would use your scrying glass to find out what is going on the Government, or would you use it to see what your next door neighbor is doing in the shower ;)

If you could summon a djinn or foliot or imp, would want them to appear as a monkey, or would you choose for something a bit more seductive looking. What if you summon multiples? How would you really treat the "commoners" if you had the powers of the magicans in those books, as well as little risk in the courts for the consequences in your actions?

Just curious if anyone else thought those same things, and if so, are interested in a one-on-one or similar simple level game in that world.

Please send PM if interested or respond here.
