Siobhan could be the poster child for the Scottish race. Her hair hung in soft, red waves to the small of her back and framed her face like a halo of flames; it was as if her hair had been spun from fire itself. Still a youth in mind and body, Siobhan had a strange agedness behind her eyes, almost as if she was wise beyond her years and belonged in another time.
Her eyes seemed to be set from a brilliant gem made from the ocean; they were prominently blue, but swirls of greens, greys, and other blues made up the entire colour, making them her best and most captivating asset. Her eyes were graced with long lashes that touched her cheeks when she closed her eyes. Her nose was petite, ending with a rounded point, and her lips were rotund and full, coloured like a pink rose coming into bloom, against skin like porcelain; Of course because of her heritage, she had a sprinkle of freckles on her shoulders, upper arms and back, and a smaller amount near her cleavage.
Siobhan was nothing if not in shape. Toned muscle clung to her long lithe limbs. She possessed a near perfect hourglass figure with her rounded breasts curving into her waist and her waist dipping out to her hips, leading to sculpted thighs and calves.
She normally preferred to dress in skirts and dresses outside of school, but had her own share of various jeans, slacks, and such. As a member of high society in the her homeland, she dressed the part even though she lived in a different country. She was always put together and stylish. Most of the time, she chose pastels and soft colours for her wardrobe. A high society woman she may be, Siobhan had plenty of selection in the way of club attire, also choosing dresses for this though of a more risque category. Of the group, she is probably the most well dressed and fashionable, often trying to get the others to dress better by gifting them with fashion magazines, gift cards, and clothing. Born the only child of Carlisle and Cora Macleod, Siobhan grew up in the lap of luxury. There was never a want for anything and she was lavished with anything she could ever ask for. Between the familial ties to the Baroness of Braye in England on her mother's side and her father having a seat in Parliament, Siobhan held a status of minor nobility. Being raised as such gave Siobhan many of the expected traits and mannerisms such as expensive taste, exquisite manners and etiquette, and an air of slight arrogance.
As a child, her tutors required her to learn several foreign languages including her father's native Gaelic, Japanese, and German. She was also required to learn the piano, violin, and harp though she convinced her parents to let her drop her harp lessons as a young teenager in favour of focusing on the piano. She excelled in the arts, but struggled in maths and sciences which is where her deep-seated dislike of the subjects. Her father encouraged, and by encouraged, we mean demanded, that she take lessons not only in fencing, but also in hand to hand combat. While Siobhan had originally bucked at the idea and resented him for it, she found that she adored these lessons and became fairly excelled in both, winning several fencing competitions. Her true love, however, was the theatre. While she held several roles on the stage over the years, she really shined behind the scenes in the costume and makeup department. She often skipped her other lessons just to work on costumes for upcoming productions, or for costumes for her to cosplay characters from her favourite video games.
In her downtime, she spent a great deal of time playing online games such as World of Warcraft and League of Legends. She also spent a lot of time reading, especially trashy romance novels that she knew her parents would shake their heads at. Because of her family's status, she attended plenty of high society parties for any number of reasons, holidays, charity events, and such. She loved these if for no other reason than that it gave her a reason to shop for a new gown and dress up. However, she looked forward to these events for another, less savory reason; during these galas she was able to flirt to her heart's content without having any strings attached or consequences. If nothing else, most of her targets assumed that she was being friendly and flattering.
Another thing that her father demanded was for Siobhan to give her time to charities and those less fortunate than her. He hadn't grown up in the luxury that she had and he wanted to make sure that she had a deep sense of humility and that she knew that money and status wasn't everything. She volunteered her time tutoring other students, giving free music lessons to a select group of children whose families couldn't afford formal lessons, and at animal shelters. It was the latter that she loved the most, being able to spend her time with cats. She also donated her clothing every year to women's shelters and her gowns and formal wear to charity auctions.
She officially graduated at age 17 but expressed to her parents that she didn't want to dive right into college. Instead, she planned to travel for several years, learning from other cultures and seeing the world. Her parents agreed to this but only after she had turned 18. She began her adventure in the United States for an entire year, bouncing from Florida to deep south, to NYC and then over to the midwest, down to the southwest, up through California and ending in Seattle. From there, she flew to Japan, spending several months traveling the country before she left to explore Bali, the Maldives, Singapore, Seoul, and Phuket. She headed north from there and spent a short time in Russia, ending her second year. In her third year, she started in the Scandinavian countries of Europe before heading south to Germany, Greece, and Italy. She spent the last few months in Spain, France, and Scotland before heading home. Of all the places that she had lived in, Japan had the most profound effect on her and upon arriving home, she informed her parents that she was ready to go to college and that she would be attending Nattu University. Her parents agreed and enrolled her promptly, sending her just before her 21st birthday.
Though she was an only child, Siobhan is a social butterfly. She befriends those from any social class, occupation, and hobbies. However this does not mean that she fully trusts those; she was raised smarter than that. This doesn't mean that she is overly distrustful and that she will act like she doesn't trust someone, but she will not divulge close and personal information to just anyone. Despite this, she is incredibly affectionate both verbally and physically, an oddity for someone of her background. This is probably because all the traveling that she did after she graduated.
Siobhan will be the first to admit that she's a bit high maintenance. Due to her upbringing, she has an expensive taste and only the best will do. She would rather travel to another city or have something sent from another country than settle on anything. She is very proud of her beauty and of her physique and isn't afraid to flaunt it. She can get to be arrogant and a little annoying, but all she needs is for a friend to remind her and/or knock her down a few pegs to deflate her ego back to its normal size. In spite of her upbringing, she has moments of humbleness and remembers the reasoning behind her father requiring her to do charity work and tries to keep that in mind.
She is incredibly competitive, especially in areas of her expertise. She often has "Challenge accepted!" moments which can lead to some pretty silly and unnecessary things. She doesn't like to lose, but once she gets over the defeat, she will acknowledge the skills of her opponent and they will have earned her respect.
Growing up, Siobhan thought that she was always able to get her way because of who she, and more importantly her family, was. But during her travels she learned that this "talent" of hers worked elsewhere even without her revealing her status. She isn't ashamed to admit that she's used this to her benefit more than a few times; it's as if she has a supernatural power of suggestion. Because of this, she's incredibly flirtatious.
Above all else, Siobhan has a great sense of loyalty to her friends and family, going so far as taking the fall for them if needed. Attaining this loyalty isn't the easiest, but once it has been granted it's nigh impossible to lose. The only way to lose her loyalty is to double cross her.
All in all, Siobhan is fairly easy to get along with. In fact, it's almost difficult to not like her. She is friendly, fun-loving, lovable, and bubbly; what's not to love here?!Likes:
