I am not really a sports fan but i do watch the olympics to chear for my nation.

I have a question about diving, does anyone here dive or know about the sport?

Well i am puzzled not by how they score it but by these towles they each have. Now whats odd is that they all do it in the olympics and they always have a little towle. At first i though it was just to dry off but then i spotted something else. They all take it into the showers and the hot tub to keep lose between rounds.

anyone know why they keep the towel even it's wet?

I wonder if it's considered a good luck charm or something.
