The INTERESTING random trivia game
« on: January 15, 2014, 08:04:28 AM »
This should be simple.... or maybe not. Reply with the correct answer to the previous question, and you get to ask the next one. The real challenge is to find question with an INTERESTING, even amusing yet correct answer. Which means that merely testing people's music knowledge should be considered slightly trite. However questions are acceptable from all genres as such.

In the game of Monopoly, the players move on the map by tokens. Why on earth are the tokens in such apparently random shapes as clothes irons, cannons, thimbles etc, considering the game consists of buying and selling streets and buildings?

Totally went to the Internet on this one and found ... more than one theory. But the one that appealed to my sense of whimsy is that the original metal tokens were struck from the same molds used for various Cracker Jack prizes.
