Hello again everyone!
I've tried this concept a couple of times but it has been bust. However, I think I'll give it another whirl and see if people are interested. Since I do not get a lot of responses I'll keep this short and once we have some players I'll elaborate. Generally I did this non-system but I thought maybe that was the problem, so how about Pathfinder? Seems popular enough.
This is a monster/tentacle sword and sorcery fantasy game (obviously). This would be a free form game with guidelines. Players have free reign to guide the story, the world is dangerous and the non-con part of it is just a reflection of that, as are the associated monsters. However, 'normal' relationships are not discouraged but if you play in this world, know that falling to monsters means they have their way with you (maybe). The idea is that there is no death by hp loss, you run out of hps and no one is around to help you, well...
The setting takes place on the world of Arlin. An epic battle has raged for eons between the dreaded Feyr following their dark god the Faceless One and the noble Fey who follow the beautiful goddess Hanlanil. Their battle was fought to a standstill until the arrival of humans. Humans and Fey were natural allies and together they drove back the Feyr. Being numerous and curious, in the age that followed humans spread out across the globe. The Feyr would occasionally muster the strength to rise up with each time the old human Fey alliances would come together again. Perhaps after setting aside current conflicts, but the fight against the darkness would continue. The Fey worked in secret however, to protect their world from Feyr and humans alike. A bold decision action was taken. A powerful artifact that would come to be called the Heartstone was created that harnessed the power of their goddess Hanlanil and feed her very goodness into the land itself.
This turned out to be a grave mistake. The the Feyr learned of the Hearstone and assaulted the mountain temple where it was hidden, how they discovered the location is unknown. Once they had overrun the temple the desperate priestess called forth Hanlanil. This is what the Feyr wanted, as the Faceless One had lain in wait for her. It is said Hanlanil and the Faceless Once battled on the mountainside and in the end Hanlanil was defeated, the Faceless One draining her of all her godly power. It then turned its attention to the Heartstone, seeking to twist the stone's power to the creature's desire. Things did not go as intended, the stone turned black and cracked, there was a mighty cheer by the Feyr present and then they gaped in disbelief as the Faceless One writhed and cried out in pain, collapsing to the ground and splitting open as its foulness poured out. The Feyr shouted in agony as their bodies bent and broke, they were transformed into something... worse.
The poison flowing from the Heartstone spread to all things. All Fey males died, the Feyr became abominations. The Curse, as it came to be called, has turned the natural world upside down and the perverse power of the dark god has seeped into everything. Now the lands are filled with beasts and monsters that are Cursed, seeking to siphon off the life energy of others. The world of humans has collapsed under the weight of shattered Fey and monstrous onslaught. Strangely, humans were not directly effected. As civilization crumbles you are thrust into the world, will you fight to preserve what is good and turn back the Curse? Or will you succumb to the temptations of darkness?
“This spring has been particularly chill. I dream of the world I once knew, of vast forests and the feeling of running free through the deep quiet of my old home. Now, my view onto the world is confined to the small space that serves as my window in this overcrowded human city. I should be scribing the arcane magic from the old tome of my teacher but I feel compelled to write in this journal. The alarm was raised from the city gate and I stopped my work to watch. Another group was set upon by the Cursed. Even from the tower I see their pale and taunt skin as they are hurried to the healing temple. The bloated monstrosities that were once orcs have set fire to the fields and somehow lured creatures to nest around the city. No one suspected they retained any of their intelligence. We have yet to regain control and the food is running low, if there is no crop to plant this spring there will be no reserves for the next winter. That is why I am preparing these spells and secretly preparing for my journey, for the walls of this city are nearer to collapse then anyone realizes.”
