« on: June 27, 2008, 11:20:18 AM »
I'm just curious, does anyone here play Eve Online?

Its an MMO where you fly internet spaceships and pew pew things.

here are a few trailers for it:
Eve Never Fades
No Other Destiny
Eve: Empyrean Age

I gave it a spin, but it never really clicked for me. Some of my guild-mates play it though.

I just started, like, a week ago.  And I love it.  Name's Rivo Minke (haha, yes, the same one from our roleplay), and I'm a Minmatar frigate commander and combat specialist.  I love the game so far.  :D

Used too, before the pricetag for each month became too rich for my blood and the machine that could play it stopped working.  It was a nice, slow-er paced game compared to the grind-fests most MMORPGS turn out.  Granted, playing EVE differentiates between economy grinding and adrenaline-rushed moments of sheer terror.

Mayhaps, with BoB imploded and the prospect of a new machine in the future, I'll get back to playing it.

actually Bob is still going strong, they held Delve and managed to weather the assault from Redswarm. MC broke apart recently and their back in control of Period Basis as well. And it looks like the goons might be on their way out. Although the Russians are easily making up for their lack of participation. It looks like RA is basically trying to seize every Dysporium moon they can get their hands on.
