The Empty Silence (M looking for F, survival themed.)

"We know now that in the early years of the twentieth century this world was being watched closely by intelligences greater than man's and yet as mortal as his own. We know now that as human beings busied themselves about their various concerns they were scrutinized and studied, perhaps almost as narrowly as a man with a microscope might scrutinize the transient creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. With infinite complacence people went to and fro over the earth about their little affairs, serene in the assurance of their dominion over this small spinning fragment of solar driftwood which by chance or design man has inherited out of the dark mystery of Time and Space. Yet across an immense ethereal gulf, minds that to our minds as ours are to the beasts in the jungle, intellects vast, cool and unsympathetic, regarded this earth with envious eyes and slowly and surely drew their plans against us. In the thirty-ninth year of the twentieth century came the great disillusionment.
It was near the end of October. Business was better. The war scare was over. More men were back at work. Sales were picking up. On this particular evening, October 30, the Crosley service estimated that thirty-two million people were listening in on radios.
"

Monday Night, October 30th, 2014. 8.45 pm. Location, Scotland.

They came in the silence, pieces of falling rock without even a curious boom as they landed. Their ray guns burning the landscape fiercely, killing thousands within hours, millions within days and with all the human might we could do nothing but watch as our existences came to an end.  We once were told they came by H.G Wells, we were told it was fiction but the threat, the horror that is the Martians is real and this time the sickness we gave them before doesn't even cause them to falter - we are doomed.

The major governments held together for as long as they could, each getting destroyed by the walking War machines, their technology being used to the fullest but shown to be of complete redundancy as within hours as each fell silent over the radios, news stopped flowing and within hours the world's power died. This moment people called, those who would survive, The Black War, the world thrown into chaos, looting, murders and pure insanity took over the majority of the world - and through this time the War Machines marched, they however were not to be forgotten.
Six weeks later

Survivors struggle to survive, eating what they can, fighting to survive against the invading monsters, giant tripods still march across the landscape burning those that get in the way, releasing black gases that kill anyone in their way quickly. We would be survivors, trying to reach the South where the last of the world's forces have built a last attempt defence long enough for us to escape Earth apparently, broadcasting it through all radio stations and phone services. Apparently we were prepared for this at least, apparently the moon has more then a dark side, apparently that is where people can be safe from these tripodal monsters all we know is that we have three months to reach the South, three months in the dead of winter - Can we survive? Or will those Green Stars burn us away from history?

A little about me

Hello friends, or yet to become friends,
I am currently look for a friendly female co-writer who enjoy plot-driven thread RPs with emotive posts, twists and character development whilst going through deep dramatic situations with the possibility of character death, I wanted excitement, energy and adventure. Drama, Grit and the ever fear of getting caught these are traits that are important for this story, I want to break the normality of Rping with this story, I want to push you and your character to the extreme as much as possible without this turning into some crazy over the top porno. Plot is important, no boobs.
I am also looking for someone who has general knowledge of the book, movies and most important the radio program (which I shall link at the bottom for those who are interested in listening to it) since this is heavily based on the works of HG Well's I would prefer someone who knew a little about the general topic. Let's exchange ideas, O/O's and chat before deciding on a plot; I have a general idea but the details and location are obviously able to be adjusted the only important thing for me is that you are dedicated, trying to get on at least once a day to three times a week, if your going to be away at least send me a message to let me know. Other then that, PM me with questions or interest in an RP and see what we can do! :)

The Autumn Ballroom

"...History is forgetful and damaging,
I lost my daughter to a brain haemorrhaging,
So autumn comes in these vibrant colours,
Whispering offers and delighted changes,
I'll never hate her for what she's done.

Sometimes when I am alone,
In the cold winter months,
I ask myself,
What have I done?.."

They say that true love comes only one in a millionth to any single person in their whole life time, each moment is like nothing they could possibly conceive without truly acknowledging till they lose it forever. What happens if you twelve weeks in a cold, windy town during autumn to be with your one true love before the old Maples drags him back into their old tree trunks till next year? How would you spend them? How would you remember them? Could you bring yourself to walk through the trees afterwards in case you see his hand or face in the old bark?

This is your story, this is our story. Our Moment. Our Ballroom. Care to dance?

The General Information

In a small town in New York state is a road that runs through miles and miles of Maples trees, each Autumn they grow beautiful with their reds, browns, yellows, golds and oranges but this town has a small secret a man in a blue jacket is said to have been murdered here waiting for his true love. He was not fortunate enough to get his one in a millionth chance for his throat was cut and thrown into the trees, forgotten. Centuries later he is said to appear at the start of Autumn and leave as winter comes, searching for his true love.

This is a purely romantic story-line, not purely sex driven something more deeper more meaning full. Can you be his true love?

The War of Seasons

It began one night many moons ago when the dirt was young, the sky was fresh and the sea barely had the trace of it's salty tears. They came together with banners and war drums in ranks that went further than the eye could imagine. Thousands of souls made from rock, tree, water, sky, fire and frost each born with armour plated on their skin, bows strung across their back and swords strapped to their hip born for war, born to die. Their banner blew in the fresh air, as the banners whipped in the wind that held it's breath the tension grew.

Summer, Autumn, Spring and Winter have come together, spears and lances sharp. Horses stomped nervously on the ground, snorting out leaves, fire, mist and snow. They all knew at this point in time there was no going back, no chance for this War was going to happen today, their champions bellowed war chants in their own tongues. The Fae of Summer, the Fae of Autumn, the Fae of Winter and the Fae of Spring each shouted, cried, sung and pounded their shields waiting for the sign to begin the war that would exceed any war that humans would never imagine. A war that would always happen once it started, a war that will never end. The War of Seasons.

No one remembers who won that long, chaotic battle.

Present Time

Suddenly one more all over the world when people slept and the cars that reeked of iron and steel parked, dead till sunrise came the sound of war drums and flutes, horses snorted, shields bashing and metal scrapping against itself. As line of tall creatures with pointed ears, trolls, goblins, Unicorns, dragons, phoenixes and all creatures of your imagination representing each season carrying terrifying weapons that have long sensed been forgotten about except what was written in fantasy books and historical dramas. They came from all corners of the world, all at the same time from the woods of Dean in England, to the Woods of Hammastunturi, to the great Sahara desert, to the great Redwoods National Park each holding those silent banners.

What is odd about this whole situation is that they seem to be ignoring the humans entirely, stepping around them to even sliding under them their eyes all looking east towards the rising sun till all went silent. Fifteen minutes of silence, fifteen minutes of the world ever having a chance to be normal, fifteen minutes of freedom. Fifteen minutes till all hell broke loose and the War of Seasons begun again. Sword clashed, shields bashed, no one was spared - no one. Human arms seemed to do nothing against their armour. The only place that seemed to be safe was their houses and places of true faith, they seemed to be ignored or avoided, no one really could tell.

Plot
In this Role-play I would like a character to play either a fae or human, it does not matter but I would prefer it to be female could be furry, could be scaly but I like the idea of being able to somewhat have a romance with it without to much difficulties. (I do like some realism to some extent when I RP, odd I know but it happens.) We have an option of either surviving, or fighting one another but decide to fight against a greater common enemy when a situation happens to reveal a deeper mystery is at hand, which for me sounds amazing and will happy GM that if needed.
However, majority of the plot will be free formed with occasional 'here is an idea of something we can do' from me when either the plot goes dry or seems appropriate, I do not however want to drag us through this. If you play a fae you must choose a season (winter, summer, autumn and spring) I will not have anyone going hybrid or whatever, that will lead to your character death nay on instantly due to the particular situation. Pick one, stick with it. (For those who are experienced in RP'ing imagine the Courts from Dark Ages: Fae or Changeling except all the rules and such.)

Important
Your fae form must be suitable to your season be it animal, element or plant. Your glamour is up to you, only post your glamour when you actually change into the form.

Magic:  If a fae has your true name, be it your a fae yourself or a human they have the rights to control you however Fae might try to power out of it or if they spend time actually in the RP building magical defences just in case. Important: Humans do not know about the power of true names unless you are playing a massive nerd be realistic.

This RP is heavy plot oriented but with elements of control, dominance and forced sex if it happens, I repeat if it happens since after all it will only happen if the plot dictates it to happen. I would prefer my RP'er know a reasonable amount about the fae, a decent imagination and willing to try something new and exciting. Otherwise have fun, this is something I've been wanting to do for ages and ages, it might seem restricting but it's honestly not, I just wanted to try something new and exciting just had to make it balanced somewhat. As always PM me if your interested.

This story has begun so therefore is taken,  thank you Kindly.

The Tale of the Aesir

The war ended with a deadly silence, the Romans were pushed back from advancing into the Northern part of Europe by Germanic barbarians in the Teutoburg forest and the suicide of Publius Quintilius Varus causing an uproar in the capital. This meant that Germania stayed independent from the mighty Roman Empire and continued to be peaceful to themselves after crushing the Seventeenth, Eighteenth, and Nineteenth legions. Several Norseman were captured and brought back as slaves, gladiators for the spectator ship of the Roman Empire. Hundreds fought, few survived.

Plot Proposal

Plots pretty straight forward, I would like a romance plot about a Roman noble woman falling in love with one of her 'presents' her father brought for her on the way back from the Teutoburg battle, a outstanding figurehead to the Roman Empire and a great Warrior. Over time her 'present' shows much still in the arena, fighting bravely trying to earn his freedom and skill. Maybe at some point she frees him and travels with him, or he escapes and offers for her to come, I am not picky.

This is historical fiction with mythological elements involved, not majorly but more like stories, I would prefer the counter part know some about the  Roman mythology as well as a little bit about Norse but this isn't really important since I will be giving information, maybe even teach her some throughout the RP.  As always this is plot driven, not sex however it could be quite vigorous and interesting. I wouldn't mind a dominate female instead of some 'daddy's little girl' unless it's just a face she wears in public, we have to remember she would be in control and not afraid to hurt the slave not to mention I would just find it interesting to have something different.

As always if you are interested, Pm me.

This too has been taken, thank you kindly.

The Quietest Moments

People said  America was colonised like the history books actually said, those kind of silly fairy tales that rich children in large brick houses that have three square dinners a day, baths every day and able to sleep peacefully in the night. What nonsense, it was a lie that was spread by the Church of the British Empire during the construction of the largest, cruellest, inescapable prison that was ever built. A place where criminals come to be forgotten, a place where it's easier to die than survive and the place that a lot of people called home, a place we call The Colonial Wastes. Only the truest of Grits can survive here, run by the sheriffs that can judge on the spot with their pistols and rifles but in reality they are just as bad as us, the criminals, doomed to die here like us for crimes they did not know they committed, for once you step off the airships there is no turning back. No one escapes. Never.

Concept Plot

This plot is an alternative history of the creation of America. It was never colonised but made into a huge prison (basically what happened to Australia) the world is ran on steam, so very steam punk. I imagine this a world like Deadwood, True Grit meets Astro Boy, Hellboy and The Prestige with very raw technology, built on scraps and such. My desire is you to play a convict, female since in this age woman are being collected and sent to the colonise instead of being hung for petty crimes in reality it's so the men that are slaves over there can reproduce and create more men and women to create a stable environment to receive ores and minerals which is exchanged for goods and food bimonthly from the Wastes.  It's rough in the wastes, rough for a women and she runs into a sheriff when all hell breaks loose. I won't give it away but it does involve Alchemy, action, fighting, survival and romance since I, myself, love that added theme.

Players must be able to create NPC's and be able to interact with others, I will not carry you through this RP, so in that I ask for experience or those with the will to try something new and exciting.

As always if your interested, PM me. <3
