Game Interest Check: Trinity Blood

Well, this game would be based on Trinity Blood (wikipedia; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trinity_Blood#Crusniks) series. But instead of being canon characthers each and everyone is capable create their own characthers of whatever race is choosed. I have my ideas below for the races (and use 3.5 edittion rules) but your free make suggestions and such.

Setting in general;

High-tech (airships, nanotechs, guns etc give such image), low-magic (and most magic is psionics, actual clerical or arcane magic VERY rare)
Races; Humans, Warforged* and Methuselah
*= 'warforged' are living constructs which are builded solely by vatican as defenders of the faith (and rumours say they use somesort sorcery to bind dead vatican inquisittion soldier into dormant cosntruct body to awaken it life). There are two variety of 'warforges'; The traditional tin can versions (common even present era but no longer manufactured because it is illegal by treaty with Methuselah) and cyborg (very rare, all are invidual cases). Statically there are differences between the two (note; Tres Iqus a.c.a Gunslinger is cyborg racially). To be cyborg you need pick warforge as race and pick in 1lvl 'Cyborg' feat which give some benefits but also drawbacks.

Cyborg (warforge only template gained by feat)
You are composed of both mechanical and living parts, so you are different from the rest of 'warforged' (machines of war builded upon during Armageddon) because your physically resemblance a normal human expect occassionally showing machine alike qualities both in behavior and physically. Reason for why your cyborg is both because your most body was recovered but you were dying or permamently injured to be seriously handicapped and by Vatican's orders your talents shoudl not go wasted so they restored your body with mechanical parts.
Effect; Have most qualities of Living Construct subtype with following differences;
-Get full effect of supernatural healing and healing spells but half-effect from repair spells or such similar effects
-Need eat vitamins either by bills (cost 3gp per daily dose) or by consuming healthy food and drink with alot natural vitamins
-No composite plating (but can wear armor)
-No light fortification
-No natural weapons
-Natural Healing; Cyborg can restore hit points and ability drain effects like normal living person does. 'Resting' is considered by that cyborg goes inert status for 8 hours where cyborg shut himself down expect haves minor alarm systems for emergency activation incase of danger (basically same as other chars; -10 to spot and listne checks to wake up).
-Self-repair; Cyborgs have enchanced metabolism which makes them able shrug blows and recover very fast from injuries and damage even while fatally injured. Cyborgs have Regenration 1 but any fire effects go trough regenration and only way to kill cyborg is to burn it (fire or acid) so much the biological organs get burned down and turn cyborg useless and 'kill' it. Any limbs cut off from cyborg dont grow back but they can be 're-attached' to the body by placing bloody limb to the spot where it was cut off before cyborg heals fully from the damage. If head is cut of cyborg goes unconcius and inert status until someone 're-attached' head back.
-No physical surface warforge implants (but all internal implants are available, basically said cyborg cant have armblade modification if he doesnt have artifical warforge hand and it is sepparately bought and added to cyborg)

Cyborg/Warforge only feats

Improved Metabolism (Cyborg only)
Your improved metabolism has been modified to be greater than usual.
Reguirement: 13 Con
Benefit: Your Regenration rate increases by 1, you can take this feat egual number times what is your constitution modifier (+2 modifier = 2 times examply).

Targeting Matrix (Cyborg/Warforge, Tactical)
You have internal targeting program attached into your brain/head to improve your skills with ranged weapons once you have run trough 'analysis' program to get hold of present combat situation. The program improves both general accuracy and usage of ranged combat feats in certain situation.
Benefit: You get +1 circumstance bonus to attack rolls with ranged weapons and three tactical maneuvers from below;
Annihilation program; You reduce penalty what you take from using rapid shot or many shot feat by half and increase your ranged damage by +2 when figthing multiple opponents with ranged weapons. Activating the program is standard action.
Sniper program; When using full round action to do single shot to one target you double benefits from Long Shot, Improved Critical [ranged weapon] and Point Blank Shot feats and increase 'accurate attack' range (doubling point blank shot, death attack and sneak attacks range where they can deliver accurate attacks. Examply you can do ranged sneak attacks to 60'ft range).
Fixed Aiming program; After missing a attack against a target because of concealment or cover you need take standard action next round and you ignore both effects when doing ranged attacks rest of the encounter.

Gun Arm (warforged only, cyborgs only if got warforged hand implant)
Instead of traditional warforge hand you have gun arm attached to your limb.
Benefit: You can convert any single hand holded ranged firearm weapon as your limb. Your firearm cant be disarmed because it is part fo your body and reload and repairs to the firearm are doned normally (of course invidual needs to be present for the repairs). You can have both hands coverted to gun arms but you cant do any actions which reguire finesse working with hands and fingers and most physical tasks which asks hands you get -4 penalty do them.

Methuselah (converted vampire template)
-Subtype changes to undead (psionic)
-Size unchanged
-Str +4, Dex +4, Int +2, Cha +2
-Fast healing 2
-Natural Armor +2
-DR 5/Silver or Magic
-Low-Light vision
-Darkvision 60'ft
-Skill modifiers; +4 to Bluff, Hide, Move Silently, Listen, Spot, Sense Motive and Search checks
-Blood Drain; Check vampire special ability for details
-Bloodline Level; Roll d6, result 1-3 gives one, result 4-5 gives two and result 6 gives three.
-Natural Weapon; Vampires can morph either claws or blades to both hands naturally and are profient in use of their natural attacks. Attacks are considered magical and either version does d6 damage and haves critical modifier 20/x2 (this effect is considered morphic psionic effect).
-Sunlight vulrenabillity; Check vampire weaknesses
-CR: +1 at bloodline levels 1-2, +2 at 3-4, +4 at bloodline 5 and +6 at bloodline 6
-LA: +4 (+5 if haves +4 bloodline level)

Bloodline Levels

All vampires possess supernatural powers, some are very common traits and some are rare. This determines what bloodline value vampire haves. Bloodline level determines limit of number of abilities what vampire haves, and what powers vampire haves access to. Most vampires are bloodline level one or two while three is minimum level for nobility rank in Empire. But maximum bloodline level is five while Empress is said be the only posessor for sixth level of bloodline rank. All listed powers below are supernatural if not otherwise stated and often are also psionic alike.

Vampire haves one power at bloodline level 1, three powers at bloodline two, five powers at bloodline 3 etc and each time when level is increased vampire knows 2 additional powers than premier level. Vampire can freely choose from list what powers he haves (bloodline 2 vampire may know all bloodline 1 powers but none bloodline 2 powers examply). Only way to increase bloodline level is increase bloodline level instead stat icnrease from 4th, 8th, 9th, 12th or 16th level.

Bloodline level 1
-Haste x/day egual to 3Xbloodline level, activated as swift action and lasts 5 rounds.
-Swift Invisibillity x/day egual to bloodline level.
-Jump by will, activated as swift action and lasts one round.
-Mental Disruption (psionics, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when using the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.

Bloodline level 2
-Blur x/day egual to bloodline level, CL egual to HD
-Catfall (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) by will, manifester level egual to HD.
-Cloud Mind (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Darkness by will, CL egual to HD
-Charm (psionic, vampire considered to have 1/2 rounded up egual to his HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual HD
-Mirror Image x/day egual to bloodline level, CL egual to HD
-Levitation (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when using the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Crystal Shard (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) by will, manifester level egual to HD
-Energy Ray (psionic, choose one energy type and PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) by will, manifester level egual to HD

Bloodline level 3
-Astral Construct (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Swift fly x/day egual to bloodline level, CL egual to HD
-Energy Shaper (psionic, choose one from following; Energy Bolt, Energy Burst, Energy Retort or Energy Wall and also choose one energy type. PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Dimension Door (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Swarm of Crystals (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Danger Sense (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.

Bloodline Level 4
-Summon Undead V x/day egual to 2xbloodline level, CL egual to HD
-Aura Sight (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Detect Thougths (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) by will, manifester level egual to HD.
-Dimension Slide (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) by will, manifester level egual to HD.
-Claws of Vampire (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) by will, manifester level egual to HD.
-Telekinetic Manuever (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Ectoplasmic Shambler (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-True Seeing (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Improved Invisibillity x/day egual to bloodline level, CL egual to HD
-Time Hop (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.

Bloodline Level 5
-Aura Alteration (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Cloud Mind (Mass) (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Chain Lighting x/day egual to bloodline level, CL egual to HD
-Overland Flight (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Temporal Acceleration (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to bloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Psychic Crush (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) x/day egual to 2xbloodline level, manifester level egual to HD.
-Psionic Blast (psionic, PP egual to 1/2 rounded up HD when activating the power) by will, manifester level egual to HD.
-Mirage Arcana x/day egual to bloodline level, CL egual to HD

Well, anycase I toughted the players could be folks from varied backgrounds and starting level around 8-10lvl (so any possible vampire chars can play with fairly enough levels to play around).

Aye, and world is also very intresting as a setting. With supernatural creatures like vampires, werewolves and such it haves very low magic in it overall. Most 'magic' being teknology but there are some magic abilities which seem to be inherited ones like vampires have. But in few cases of the series there popped up clearly a invidual who used somesort ritual magic to attack foes so I assume some amount of magic exchists but it is very rare.

Anycase I had ideas for 'Vatican' faction affilitation scores and benefits. There is after all three branches in Vatican; Inquisittion (pure military branch), The diplomatic side (pure politics) and Ax (top secret special operations, varied from combative to political and also threat elimination discreetingly).

So there can be a general affilitation score and then invidual affilitation score in one or all branches of the Vatican. Of course branches dont include everyday worshipping activities like what church/chapel fathers and sisters are doing everyday holding cermons and some cases giving school education to local kids if local area lacks a teacher and a school.

I think my favorite out of the whole series was Father Hugh, aka Sword Dancer. I have a soft spot for sword toting characters.

Hehe, as I have read your ons/offs :). Anycase I hope there is more intrest so we can find GM to run this setting (a GM who is familiar with the 3.5 edittion rules). I would add that artificers are rare as magic items are rare but Methuselah likely have them working in their factories. Also many of the advanced teknoogy (which holds no magic) are made by them.
