damnit, why on earth would you hate that class? it's epic!

But fine then what woudl you think a good class woudl be for a shy Aasimar?

My personal suggestion would be either a cleric or an oracle. Probably more leaning towards the oracle, since clerics tend to have a bit more public profile.

Thought that comes to mind for my character is maybe a bit weird, but an elf half-fiend. Don't remember the name of them, but there was a race like that in Forgotten Realms as well that I really like. I imagine that'd also fit the bill of something people wouldn't want around and would gladly throw away to never be seen again.

I kind of feel really dumb right now, because I didn't think of that Tieflings aren't necessarily a mix of human with evil heritage. Nothing saying it can't be an elf.

Why would they throw a perfectly adorable cat down into Avernum?

And no summoners, I hate that class for personal reasons.

The same reason they're throwing a perfectly good human down into Avernum, it peed on a paper with the Emperor's name on it or something.

Besides, it's either the cat, or I take a creepy-crawly icky-nasty spider/scorpion/centipede as my familiar, and I don't think you want that. ;D

Nikki wants cute things, not icky things. And if a GIFTS isn't cute, a spider that can't even talk (in a squeaky, high-pitched voice) definitely won't be. ;) Besides, a cat's personality fits this guy much better anyways.

18,17,16,16,14,13. That might be good enough. :D ;D

How do we decide HP?

There is no standard that I know of, aside from 1st HD = maximum. Do we roll for our 2nd+3rd dice? Take maximum? Take 1/2 or 3/4 maximum?

drumroll....21 HP. Yikes, I'm squishy.

Aaand done. Meet Alabatrax The Ever-Malevolent (or Andy to his friends), warlock extraordinaire. Petty and selfish, his cruelty only outmatched by his laziness - traits shared by his cat familiar Seymour. He's a handy person to have around, though, with his hex-based abilities to make enemies' lives into a living hell, and take a bit of the misery of daily life off a friend's shoulders at the right time.

I think this should be my finished character sheet, unless I missed something.

http://plothook.net/RPG/profiler/view.php?id=10693

Leila Pendre, Tiefling outcast that was scorned by her elf parents and abandoned in a human city shortly after she became able to handle herself just a little bit. Even so, this turned her to a life of crime and lawlessness, but only to support herself and her own hobbies. All too curious and inquisitive for her own good, but inhumanly intelligent and with grace that would put almost any dancer to shame.

I'm a healer, sort of - stacking so many debuffs on an enemy that it can't actually hit anything counts as pre-emptive healing. :D

(And yes, I do have Cure spells I can prepare, I just don't wanna.)

Ah, you mean the fey'ri :). Anyways welcome to Elliquiy Azata and welcome to your first RP here.

Now, if we want go to strange races and seeing the group has no yet a 'tank' type. I am thinking between a tiefling monk or a tiefling barbarian. I think the barbarian was tossed in from something like 'kissing Emperor's wife/daugther for giggles' or something like that. Monk's case I think is because of Emperor being racist.
