An American Hero (Male seeking F)

Eight years he spent in Afghanistan as a Prisoner of War and many of those years he was in solitary confinement. In America he was suspected as dead so when he was finally freed by a joint operation between the CIA and Afghan forces the country was shocked.

Captain John Anderson, hero of multiple combat situations and POW for eight years is finally returning home to the shock of the nation. No one was more shocked than his wife and daughter who had spent the last eight years forgetting him and continuing with their life. But now he is coming home.

How does the wife explain to her hero husband that she has taken on new lovers and is currently seeing his best friend?
Maybe the daughter has started to call a new man daddy?
Maybe there is a baby in the family from another man?

This is a story of how the wife (and daughter maybe?) have to make it up the war hero?
