Name: Desora Shai'renad
Race: Asari Matron (Turian father)
Class: Pure Biotic
Age: 384
Appearance: with the picture in mind, this is generally how Desora will be dressed at all times. The black material is a high-fiber alloy that allows for maximum flexibility and minimal damage prevention. The gray is a synthetic cotton-like material that is designed for regulation of body heat. This young Asari Matron has a very light shade of blue for her skin tone, during battles, and most social events she paints her face a milky white color, like the picture. Not shown to the left here, though; Desora puts on black paint as well that simulates the natural marks on her face that lie under the paint. Her forehead is blank, with the exception of the eyebrow's that are shown here. Her cheeks and the top half of her jaw are litered with black lines and sharp angles. The markings that she was born with, as well as the simulated black paint that she puts on look's like Turian 'home-world tribal culture'. This is of course due to her father, and the selected genes of his DNA
History: Desora's parents met through an odd military venture. Matron Lona Shai'renad had served as a young maiden, but had been retired from active duty for almost a century. Keeping Illium safe, and patrolling the borders of the Terminus systems, Dosik Venris made a name for himself as a Turian spectre. He had been given Spectre status, immediately sent to Illium. He worked mission after mission for the Asari republic. In two years, he became a hero. Lona was called in as an expert, she would feed information back to command in support of Dosik and his ssal fire-squad. Lona hadn't been in action for a long time. And she nearly died on the mission. Dosik fell in love with her, and she with him. They spent over a decade together, stabilizing Illium, and it's surrounding inter-alien colonies. Finally retiring at the age of forty-six, Dosik took Lona to Nevos, an Asari colony of extraordinary beauty, it's main feature for the two lovers: 'twin moons' that the locals wrote of romantically. Dosik and Lona spent thirty years together there, producing one child (Lona's sixth): Desora.
Dosik had said goodbye to his daughter, and the love of his life. Lona left with Desora, leaving Dosik to die in peace. The child would be raised Thessia, so that her Asari heritage could be fully recognized. Her maturation came rapidly. The Turian genes that Lona had given to her created a beast of duty. The young maiden was hell bent on aiding in the efforts of the galactic struggle that she read about every day. At the age of twenty, she underwent extensive biotic training, and basic battle strategy. She graduated this school quickly, and went on to further training. Her initial goal was to join the Asari Commando's, just as her mother had done, just as her Turian father would have wanted her to. Asari commandos are only considered after 20-30 years of training. This ended up being good news for Desora. She had an absurd work ethic and an unrivaled discipline.
At age thirty, she traveled to Digeris, the site of the bloodiest battle in Turian history. Unsure of what she was going to find there, Desora only knew that her military training would continue. She ended up spending 134 years on this soil, working with Turian strategists, and martial arts masters. The commandos were thirsty for her when she was ready.
Desora worked like this, in small platoon's, fighting battles of any kind. She wasn't present when Aria T'loak seized Omega, but she was only two relays away. The galaxy was not at peace in this time, but the large threats still hid in the depths of space. Desora saw her share of battle, and she has earned her share of scars. Only recently, after one hundred and eighty years of duty, has humanity surfaced. Now, in the very early years of her matron stage: Desora is a bit lost, void of guidance. She has no will to mate yet, and she requires no vacation. The Turian genes drive her, she is obsessed with duty.
Doing her best to help where-ever it is needed. She has disappeared into the terminus systems, concealing herself as a Merc. Desora looks as dark and seedy as the evil that loiters by her side. She isn't, and her intentions seem unfulfilled.

Desora is quiet. She has an overwhelming glare, and she constantly uses some form of biotics to intimidate those around her. At times she may be floating in mid air as she exercises her patience. In threatening situations, her barrier goes up along with her suspicions. Her favorite trick is Stasis, unless her target is a considerably strong biotic as well, Desora can usually stop them in place, and disarm arm with the ease of a finger's strength. In addition, she can attempt to meld with some one without telling them, and the sensation is jarring. With weak souls, she can succeed with the meld and destroy them mentally.
When her defenses are down, she is still cold, but Desora is known for having a good sense of humor. She laughs when it inappropriate. At times, she hears jokes when another is attempting to be serious. She see's the world through the eyes of a Turian. Obsession and emotions do not appeal to her, a mortal succumbing to such things appear funny. She's always enjoyed sex, but she's picky, and her partners are usually only used once. Desora is not a romantic, and in the rare case of repeated intercourse (and subsequent melding), she still treats herself like a prostitute: business-minded, dirty, distant, and indulgent.
She has repressed most of her battles, ignoring the murderous tendencies that fulfill the wishes of her alter-ego. Desora has successfully made two versions of herself. One of them is capable of murder, and obscene disembodiment. The other may scream, scared at a loud noise in the cupboard. She is a proud woman, and she holds herself in high regard. Perhaps, that is the easiest thing to notice about this well aged Asari, she is confident, intelligent, and defined.
Desora hides behind her shields, and her ability to manipulate the battlefield. She only arms herself with a slightly modified Stilleto Five. This weapon is a basic semi-automatic pistol. With a heat sink that she's had equipped for almost a century, the weapon rarely needs a thermal clip to stay cool. She keeps herself out of harms way with biotics. Infiltrating enemy lines, and firing from as close as possible. If her disfiguring biotic grav fields don't destroy her enemies, precise point blank shots usually do the trick
Generally, the above stated is true. She tends to dominate females. With males, the odds are usually even. Most of this behavior is mental, though. Desora is soft. As a warrior, her touch is unnaturally gentle and slow. This comes from her genuine dual ego thing.
