Elohim

A woman sat alone at the bar, drinking from a glass of amber liquid.  The distinct scent of alcohol filled the air around her, and the slight haze in her eyes could only mean that this girl was drunk.

Her brown hair was cut short, and it was slightly messy, and her bleary eyes were a rather deep green.  Her pouty lips were gently parted, and face was hard, with cold eyes, severe cheek bones. The young woman was wearing a pair of tattered blue jeans, muddy and worn out combat boots, and a liquor stained white tank top.

“How long have I been this way...”  She said with a sigh, by now the regulars and the bartenders realized it was a question the nameless woman was posing to herself.   She wasn’t coming here for conversation, it was obviously the cheap booze.

She brought the glass to her lips, and took a large gulp...  The pungent liquid burnt its way down her throat, her bio systems processed the substance almost instantenously adding a whole new level to her buzz.

“Tch...”  She shook her head, and lit a cigarette.  “Reduced to this...”  She said as she pushed her glass forward and signalled the bartender.

So, who exactly was this woman?  It would probably be a surprise to the observers to realize that she was formerly in the military.  She gave the government everything, they wouldn’t even allow her to die, when most of her body was obliterated in combat.

Instead they built her a state of the art cybernetic body, and forced her to keep up the fight.  And fight she did, but when the war ended three years ago...  Her body was stripped down to the bare minimum, allowing her to simply survive.

The former warrior was then given a job working security and some no name company, now...  They had stole her body twice, as well as her pride.  Now.  She simply drinks her days away, occasionally reliving the glory days when she’s not lost in the drink.  Soon, though opportunity will come knocking for this mechanical valkerie.

I’m looking for a chance to start playing an older character of mine, that meshes well with most cyberpunk games.  The various scenarios are up in the air really, I was jut hoping I could draw someone’s attention to the PC.  Despite the location that I placed this in, I would be willing to play her in a group setting as well.

What are you looking for in a man? :) because I love the idea of a former military lady feeling all lost and thrown aside.

Depending on what you're looking for in terms of play, I'd love to pursue this idea.  However, I will admit that I have recently realized I'm far more interested in the "role playing" portion of "adult role playing."  And far better at that part of it than the other.

But this idea gets my thoughts spinning, so I thought I'd toss that out there.
