Your lyrics, poetry...
« on: March 20, 2012, 04:16:40 PM »
So I was wondering if anyone here would like to share theyr own lyrics, poetry or whatever you want to call it?

The pain slowly goes away but the scars still remain
My soul torn apart, is slowly being glued back together by the beating of my heart
The same event plays until it no longer can be refrained
Where it stays in a spot that I have givin' it to stop
...The pain...

It doesn't have to rhyme...I just like rhyming  ::)

Who here's a fan of Johnny Cash?

I see the climate changin',
Our world will soon decay,
The ones who could prevent it,
Would lose too much today,
But see, the greedy represent me,
And time keeps draggin' oooon...
But that planet keeps-a-warmin',
Until that money's all goooone...

When I was just a baby,
My mama told me, son,
"The good Lord will protect you,
Just pray with everyone",
But then I got into the real world,
And the Lord did squaaaat...
Now I worship social progress,
It's the only chance we've goooot...

I bet there's rich folks flyin',
In a fancy private jet,
Africans are dying,
But they just don't give a shit,
They know the cost to fix the problem,
Is not too much to payyyy...
But you'll never be a rich man,
If you give your wealth awayyyy...

If aliens did find us,
And studied all our ways,
They'd say we're all just like them,
And say they wanna trade,
But then they'd buy up our resources,
For some hi tech beeeeads...
They'd sell us our own water,
For a damn outrageous feeeee...
