Character's Name Nijima Akiko

Character's Species Human from Sakoda

Character's Age 29 Sakodan Years

Biography
Nijima Akiko, first daughter of Emperor Nijima Kenichi, master of the feudal world known as Sakoda; and his favorite concubine, Inoue, is a young Sakodan human, standing but five feet (1.5 meters) with dark black hair and purple eyes. Her faintly tanned skin seems to glow in dim lighting, and is a stark contrast to the dark colors she normally wears.

Akiko was raised as a royal daughter, pampered and privileged.  Yet the girl was always trouble for her family and the house hold staff, getting into everything and climbing walls to escape the royal compound. Even on a peaceful agrarian world like Sakoda, there were still threats to the ruling elite.  It wasn't until Akiko was six years old that she began to manifest ability in the force, frightening her mother with an unexpected display of force kinetics, shattering a priceless stone vase across the compound's courtyard when the girl refused to come indoors as ordered.

Within the week, a Jedi Master arrived to check on the girl, at her parent's behest. Discovering her latent ability to channel the force, little Nijima Akiko was taken off of Sakoda and transported to Coruscant for training in the Jedi arts. Akiko was later assigned to Twi'lek Jedi Mistress Ardana as her Padawan.

As her training was nearing completion, Akiko was approached by several Jedi she had never encountered before. Taking her from the temple, the small Padawan was further trained in quite a brutal fashion, even more so than Jedi Mistress Ardana's unusual methods of training. Nijima Akiko was trained to hide, to track, and to fend for herself in the most hostile situations imaginable.

Now capable of hiding herself completely, even hide her ability to use the Force, Nijima Akiko was given her rank of Knight, as a Shadow, and assigned to another Shadow to locate the Sith purported to be behind the Separatist faction warring with the Republic.

There had been rumors of Sith activity on Tattooine, where Knight Akiko and her companion moved to. When Order 66 was passed down, Akiko was in hiding, set in ambush while her companion worked to flush out their quarry. Her companion, another human named Brasque, was slaughtered by Order 66, while little Nijima Akiko remained in hiding.

Having learned to alter her physical appearance, Akiko was able to hide her lightsaber (even if fully nude), and her identity. Keeping the weapon close at hand, Akiko decided that the best way to hide in the future was to be the last person one would expect to be a Jedi: a slave.

She entered into an agreement of indenture, which was later violated by her employer, and the exotic little human was sold into harsh slavery; a pleasure slave for a wealthy but cruel merchant along the Outer Rim, by name of Remus-Qui Sereta. Remus-Qui found little Akiko both alluring, and useful... as she had the knack at reading people for her Master.

Here's the character sheet for the Sith Lord, I'll probably be posting others for other NPCs sometime before gamestart. Also you may notice that some of the NPCs break/bend a rule or two during character creation. This is simply because they (the ones that do) are meant to act more as plot devices and thus should be powerful/have some specific item/ect, not so that I get to play the most powerful characters. If anyone has a problem with this please let me know.

Character's Name Darth Aegis

Character's Species Unknown (Humanoid)

Character's Age Unknown

Biography

Darth Aegis was born sometime before The Great Hyperspace War and the subsequent fall off The Sith Empire. During this time, he was actually a Sith Lord of considerable power. Possessing a powerful personal fleet and an impressive force of loyal warriors. Even from his first years as an apprentice Aegis has possessed a very strong ability to foresee the future through the force. In fact part of the reason why Darth Aegis had managed to gain such power, and why he is still in existence today, is that his visions have allowed him to avoid many a would be assassin's blade.

It was during the opening months of the war that Darth Aegis was struck by a vision he had never expected....the near total destruction of The Sith and their eventual ultimate defeat rendered to them by the Jedi.

At first this vision was simply a foggy impression, he only saw instants flashing before him one after another. The defeat of The Sith Empire. Their eventual resurgence. Their destruction at the hands of a Sith Lord in order to reverse the course of their slow demise. The Rule of Two. Years of waiting. A power Sith Lord laid low by his apprentice turned to the light. And finally the twisting of the Sith Order into something that he could not even imagine any Sith approving of...

As he awoke from his meditations Darth Aegis knew that these visions were far more important than the current war effort. And he also knew that his seeing them did not happen by chance. It was the will of The Dark Side that he would see these events and that he would be the one to keep them from occurring!

For the rest of The Great Hyperspace War Darth Aegis remained on his command ship, meditating as often and for as long as physically possible. Attempting to map out every possibility, to learn every name and place of importance in the future yet to come. He realized that the flaw as not in The Rule of Two, which in fact was the one true way for the Sith to remain strong. But that the failure of The Rule of Two rested on the shoulder's of a single Sith Lord. He learned the name of that Sith Lord...The one who's failure would set the Sith on their course towards eventual ruin, Darth Sidious.

Every vision he had ended with the same result. Sidious would be destroyed by a child of Skywalker, or Skywalker himself. And in the aftermath his apprentice, Darth Vader, having repented become Skywalker once again, and the Sith order would be leaderless until a new Dark Lord arose...one who would pervert the order into something it should never become.

Now that his course of action was an obvious one Darth Aegis began preparing to put his plan into motion. As the war drew to its close and The Sith Empire began to crumble Darth Aegis drew all his forces to him under the guise of planning a retreat to safer places in the galaxy. But before such a retreat could take place he reached out into the Force and drained all the life force he could from every member of his forces. Using their essence to place himself in a state of suspended animation.

As the years passed and passed his ship, which was the only one in his fleet to survive his actions, drifted aimlessly through space. When the time was finally right Aegis emerged from his hibernation and began to set about his plan.

First he watched and waited unseen by even Sidious himself. He watched as Darth Sidious manipulated the Galactic Republic into becoming the Galactic Empire.

But now his time for waiting has ended. And the time of action has arrived....

Equipment:
As with many things about Darth Aegis, his list of equipment is mostly based off of what he has been known to use in the past and as such may not be perfectly accurate.
Red Bladed Lightsaber: Darth Aegis has been known to utilize a red bladed lightsaber when in combat. The weapon has at times been described as possessing a standard hilt and at others as possessing a curved one. Whether this is evidence of the Aegis possessing two lightsabers or simply a single one with an adjustable hilt is unknown at this time.
Sith Armor: (pictured) The armor Darth Aegis wears is his only known appearance. Exactly what he looks like under his armor has never been discovered. Any records of his physical appearance or even his species have long since disappeared. The armor itself seems to be crafted for him specifically, it provides him with an extremely high level of protection, but seems we weigh close to nothing and does not appear to impede his movements in any way. It is highly likely that his skills at Sith Metallurgy were used in it’s construction.  And as such it is also to be expected that the armor strengthens his link to the Dark Side of the Force.
Sith Amulets : Darth Aegis possesses several Sith amulets. Each of these arcane objects is unique and acts as a focusing rod for the Dark Side of the Force. Exactly how many he possesses and any other qualities these amulets exhibit are at this time unknown.
The Silent Shadow: Darth Aegis’s ship All that is known is that at one time it was his flag ship and since his re-awakening it has acted as his base of operations. It’s age, model, specifications, location and even how it continues to operate after so much time are currently unknown.
Force Power: 5
Force Skill: 4
Force Abilities:
The following abilities are those which Darth Aegis is confirmed as knowing/having used. Given his advanced age, the full extent of his skills and powers can only be speculated upon.
Force Sense
Farsight
The Art of Movement
Telekinesis
Force Push/Pull
Mind Tricks
Force Choke
Sith Lightning
Cloak of Darkness
Sith Metallurgy

I might throw myself into this game. I'll see what characters are in before I decide. I was probably aiming for a Jedi forbidden love child, a nobles daughter who will be mouldable for good or bad. At the same time I'm wondering about inserting something from a clone war era rp I'd like to do. All that would mean is on a snowy planet called Uriel their is the remanance of a battle gone south.

Including a temple which contains the remains of a Sith Lord called Val Deken and th bodies of five unfortunate Jedi who barely beat him including my girls father.

Very well. In a nut shell Val Deken is a dead Sith Lord who mastered a similar ability to what the Jedi use to appear as ghosts. However the sith version allows them to create shadowy Wraiths of pure force energy that possess the ability to simulate light sabres. Though Val Deken is beaten the planet Uriel is a big hot spot for force energy and Val Deken left many things that an enterprising young Sith could acquire. >D I believe if this was included the power would need to be balanced and perhaps usable only around areas that are saturated with Grief, rage, etc etc.

I'm saving some points for later, what do Vibroblades count as ? Edit this is what I have so far she's not finished just yet if it comes to it I might do another character.

Jana Norkin
Human
27
Biography Jana Norkin was a girl who had no home. Rather than having literally no home to begin with, it is accurate to say that she had to move from shelter to shelter in many occasions. Sometimes on the same planet, sometimes across star systems. The reason being the lack of order established by the Republic in its' dying days. Tasting poverty since young, she grew up jaded and thorned. Now she is a smuggler beyond ruthless and more than just any other thug. With her right eye once caught in a blaster fire, it is now a synthetic eyeball with golden iris. Detesting the Republic since puberty, she is equipped with all the military goodies illegal to common folk. Sometimes she had to steal from the Empire as well, leading to some sirens going off.

About the only thing that she has joy and pride in is her ship, a Nova Drive Class 3-Z light freighter she's named the Singing Dreamer, which she won after a Sabacc tournament on Ord Mantell.

Equipment:

Freeform: DL-18 blaster pistol, light body armour, boot-knife and a wrist-mounted communicator

10 points

Light Freighter Class Starship: Spacecraft used for small freight operations. They were popular choices for small shipping firms, independent haulers and smugglers for their low cost, ease of customization and a ubiquitous nature that helped avoid unwanted attention. (It should be noted that The Millennium Falcon COULD be considered a Light Freighter Class size ship)
Effect: Characters have their own personal starship of the above stated class, allowing them to travel from planet to planet and system to system without relying on anyone else. Characters are able to upgrade their personal starship
Cost: 3

Astromech Droid:a type of droid that serves as automated mechanics, performing a variety of repair duties and often serving as adjuncts or substitutes for nav computers on smaller starships. They were also able to use the mainframe of a larger ship to their advantage.
Effect: Your Character owns an Astromech Droid (of any model to be controlled by the player)
Cost: 3

Escape Pods: Small escape craft for use in escaping a doomed ship in times of emergency.
Effect: Should the character's ship be destroyed, said character is able to escape via an escape pod or ejection seat before the ship explodes.
Cost: 2
Requirements: Character must possess a ship

Hold Out Blaster: Small, palm-sized blasters that can be easily concealed.
Effect: Even when your character is checked for weapons, and has their weapons removed (such as being frisked/scanned before meeting a crime boss) they are able to carry their hold out blaster which is never detected.
Cost: 2

Underworld Contacts: Sometimes knowing the right barkeep is worth more than all the intelligence briefs in the galaxy.
Effect: Your character will occasionally receive information from Anti-Imperial sources(via PMs)
Cost: 3

She’s Still Got A Few Surprises Left In Her: Your ship has been the recipient of several 'off the books' modifications.
Effect: Your ship is able to equip hidden weapons, secret cargo holds, and other such devices
Cost: 3
Requirements:  Either a Corvette, Light Freighter, or Transport class starship

She’s No Good To Me Dead: The price on your head only applies if your head is still attached to the rest of your body.
Effect: NPCs will attempt to capture your character alive rather than kill them. They will only attempt to kill your character under extreme circumstances.
Cost: 4

Very much still a work in progress.

Okay I have two questions in regards to characters. I have two ideas in mind, and I want to get them okay'd before I get to far in the character skeleton process.

The First Idea: Yuuzhan Vong. I know this may be a bit of a stretch for some, especially people familiar with them OOC, but they are basically the anti force users. His role would be a recurring hazard/enemy for both sides, not being on any particular side besides the Yuuzhan Vong.

The Second Idea: Independent Droid. I have played Star Wars Saga Edition, which got me hooked on playing as a droid. I would love to be apart of someones crew or something, but secretly be completely independent and have capabilities to be just as free as every other character. Their role would be sidekick, secret badass, mysterious companion, perhaps even assassin or bounty hunter.

Thanks in advance!

Awesome I get to be a droid! But may I ask why a no-go on the Yuuzhan Vong? xD

Oh and instead of having 5 points for the lowest level of force can I have ten because I have no force whatsoever? Or does it balance out because as a droid I cannot be sensed using the force?

Honestly in part because of the timeline in which I want the game to play out (very much pre-vong) and in part because I'm not too big on the vong ;D

All you get is the 5 extra :P And the advantages of being a droid should balance out not having the force.
