Blood fuelled cell phone

Finally we can accuse Shadowrun of being insufficiently imaginative.

Quote from: article
The basis of the 2x4-inch "Digital Tattoo Interface" is a Bluetooth device made of thin, flexible silicon and silicone. Itīs inserted through a small incision as a tightly rolled tube, and then it unfurls beneath the skin to align between skin and muscle. Through the same incision, two small tubes on the device are attached to an artery and a vein to allow the blood to flow to a coin-sized blood fuel cell that converts glucose and oxygen to electricity. After blood flows in from the artery to the fuel cell, it flows out again through the vein.

A blood powered phone? My brother will have a fit when he hears this.

I don't really like tattoos, but I would feel like a total badass for running devices with my own blood.

Or hell, give me the magic and tall smexy elves and Orks. <.<

But blood powered cellphone? First display contacts and now blood powered cellphone.

I smell cybernetic enhancements soon.

It's neat and all but considering the body's ability to break down just about anything, I'd want to see how the guinea pigs are doing in, say, 50 years... like if they've died of a stroke from getting their cell phone lodged in their brain. I already partially resent my cell phone... I don't need it to actually kill me.

Haven't they already played with implanted phones, linked into the jawbone or ear somehow? I'm pretty sure I remember reading something along those lines.

Killing Hands + Distant Strike + Delayed Damage + Astral Sight = Win

Sure it takes a few initiation levels, but there's nothing quite like the ability to assassinate someone by knocking on their door.
