The Indigo Prophecy
« on: December 28, 2007, 07:59:15 AM »
It was foretold at the dawn of time, that a child would be born with a pure soul, a soul that had never been incarnated, never been stained with the passing of bodies. This child would deliver a message, and the one who hears it will gain access to unlimited power. This child was called The Indigo Child.

However, the prophecy does not speak of where and when this child will be born. And so, five priests of the Ancient Mayan civilization summoned all their power and became the Oracles. The Oracles would live limitless lives through others, and would wait until the Indigo Child was found. Every 7 years, they needed to make a sacrifice to speak to the Other World, and this would tell them if the time had come. So far, the Other World has told them nothing... until now.

You awaken, in a public place, a bathroom perhaps, or a taxi... you are holding a knife, and its bloody. Your own arms are carved and slashed, and there is a dead person near you, stabbed three times on the left side of the chest. You remember nothing... brief glimpse, of images you can't decipher now, but you do know one thing... you have taken a life.

This is a game for a small group, revolving around a flexible story of cults, murder and prophecy. You could choose a NY Detective on the trail of the unfortunate man caught up in his own killing, or maybe a turned cultist who aides him. I will be playing one of the Five Oracles.

Good luck to those that participate, and I hope you enjoy the game :)
