"Ladies' golf isn't just about sports. It's also to do with fresh air, beautiful scenes, feeling good and watching the young and dynamic girls."
Wang Liwei, vice president of the Golf Association of China, explaining their bid to make women's golf tournaments in the country more attractive by making contestants pose in a bikini (off the actual competition at first, but we'll get the idea), wear more interesting and colourful clothing on the course and have a beauty contest for the golfers arranged in conjunction with games. The China Daily added that this week's Orient Pearl Challenge
would also have a "Most Beautiful Award", voted by fans and media, for the player with the most attractive clothing.http://tinyurl.com/3o34nr2
A good comment I've seen on it was this one:
"Make it eighteen holes and the nineteenth is under the beach thong of another golfer."
