Setting: The Arcane Vault—a mysterious organization dedicated to studying and documenting supernatural anomalies. It is an institute that investigates and archives testimonies, artifacts and research relating to the strange, the occult and the unexplainable. Elias Thorne, the reluctant and brooding Head Archivist investigates strange occurrences and, more quietly, the mysterious disappearance of the former Head Archivist — his estranged wife, Clara Thorne.

Plot Overview:
The story centers around Elias Thorne, a mid-thirties to early-forties archivist, whose life is turned upside down when Lilja Vaughn, a young Austrian princess is 'temporally' displaced, accidentally throwing her into his path. She is a beguiling and sharp-witted young woman with the facade of an air-headed princess, thrust from the tense pre-French Revolution era into the present. Elias is assigned to try and help Lilja stabilize her ability to control her unpredictable time jumps, much to Elias' annoyance.

They grow closer as the two investigate temporal anomalies and supernatural mysteries together. Elias, initially cold and distant, is slowly charmed by Lilja’s wit and spirited personality, though he is hesitant to initiate anything beyond friendly due to their age difference and his unresolved feelings for his missing wife. Lilja, intrigued by Elias' modernity and his ability to see her for who she truly is beyond her beauty, finds herself drawn to him. Their partnership evolves from reluctant guardian and charge to an emotionally charged bond full of tension, banter, and growing intimacy.

I'll be writing the role of Lilja:

Personality: Lilja at first puts on the act of an air-headed and vapid girl, concealing her true nature — that of a beguiling and clever young woman. Jaded due to living during turbulent times, she is hesitant to show her true self. When comfortable, Lilja shows herself to be a strong, driven and ambitious girl with a slightly dark sense of humor, unexpected charm and a very curious nature.

Appearance: Lilja is a strikingly beautiful young woman. She has pale, blonde wavy locks and porcelain skin. Her wide, oceanic eyes are set into her doll-like face. She has a small, cute nose and soft, full lips. She is petite, standing at just 5'2" with a smaller chest but with wide, curvy hips and a plump bottom.

I’m looking for someone to take on the role of Elias Thorne:

Personality: Elias is intelligent, aloof, and emotionally guarded due to his past. He has a skeptical manner, making him very diligent about uncovering the truth behind any reported supernatural occurrence. Highly observant and logical, he is a very competent man. He carries lingering guilt and unresolved feelings for his missing wife, which Lilja's presence challenges. He often finds himself exasperated by Lilja's teasing but finds himself slowly growing fond of her despite himself. His cutting wit can often be seen as rude and tends to prevent others from respecting him despite his intellect.

Appearance: Mid-30s to early 40s. Elias is a tall man standing at 6'3" with a deceptively athletic build lurking beneath his layered 'dark academia' styled wardrobe. He has brown, slightly messy hair and tends to look just a bit disheveled at all times. Though handsome, he has a slightly worn, tired look complete with dark circles beneath his bespectacled eyes.

Dynamic: The relationship between Elias and Lilja begins as begrudging cooperation but grows into something deeper and more intimate over time. The tension is key—Elias’ internal conflict about moving on from his wife versus his growing attraction to Lilja will be central to the story.
