Bookmarking Large Group parent threads

Apparently, we can't ATM. Which means having to BM every single subthread, which some of the time one might not know about. One game I'm in, New York, New York, has gotten absurdly huge, and it would be nice to be able to just jump to the parent, rather than having to swamp my own bookmarks list.  Is this something fixable, or perhaps coming in The Next Big Code Push?

Oof, I know exactly what you mean. I actually asked Ssieth if this was a thing that could be added to her Elliquiy Improver script.

Right now the best way I have found is to use your browsers native bookmark functionality to bookmark the actual board page - it's a pretty servicable work around to it being something otherwise not available right now.

*blinks* I never once thought of doing that. Thank you. It does get a bit annoying having to bookmark so many threads, it just fills up your bookmark page so that is a workable solution. :)

My workaround for this has always been to put all of the big groups I'm not involved in and the more chatty ooc forums on ignore in my "ignore boards/options" list so that when I look at "show unread posts" it is only from the big groups I'm a member of the ooc forums I want to see new posts from. It isn't ideal but it's the best I could come up with.

I just control F New York, New York from the home page and click it :)

Also with Sseith's script you can make a folder for it. Then just bookmark ONE thread. So when you go to those bookmarks, you can click the parent forum from that one bookmark if that makes sense.
