Corrupted Kingdoms

Hello all and welcome to Corrupted Kingdoms: A Homebrewed System RPG designed to incorporate Sex as a main mechanic. I, and a small group of testers, have been working on this project for just under a year now and I am excited to invite you to check it out!

Currently, the game is in Open BETA. While this thread is meant to generate interest for games to be hosted here, on Elliquiy, we invite you to visit our Discord, where you’ll find the official Rulebook and Character Creator. During this BETA, we are allowing guests to experiment with the Character Creation tool to create whatever type of Hero they wish, from valiant valkyries to shapeshifting slimes and everything else in between! Below you will find  highlights to the creation system designed specifically for you:

Intuitive Digital Character Sheet: Corrupted Kingdoms features a semi-automated digital spreadsheet with prebaked calculations that will ease the burden of managing and allocating your stat points.

Modular Class System: Corrupted Kingdoms will not lock your Heroes to a specific class. Instead, your Hero will have access to every available Skill & Ability. You decide how you want to build your multi-elemental caster, shape-shifting spellsword, or butt-naked pro "wrestler" from start to finish.

CYOA-Styled Character Creation: Each player starts with 100 points, then purchases characteristics that add unique benefits (or detriments) to their Hero. These characteristics are then used to calculate your Hero’s Perversion Power.

Corrupted Kingdoms: is an experimental system that shamelessly borrows from other works in order to create a lusty adventure of sex and conquest. The main sources of content for this game comes from the Numenera System, a HealSlut CYOA (Reddit), D&D 5e, Darkest Dungeon (Lusty Lair/Darkest Desire Mods) & various other artists/influences throughout the internet.

Ambition: To create a viable and balanced RPG where sexual content is a core mechanic. The idea behind Corrupted Kingdoms was born and cultivated by the wonderful environment Elliquiy is famous for. As so many others before this, Corrupted Kingdoms is an attempt to merge the love of Role Play with the desire for smut of all kinds. What was once a passion project has now escaped the confines of ths mad lad’s mind and onto this page. If you’re still reading and your interest has been piqued, then you’re just the type of degenerate life form Corrupted Kingdoms is designed for!

The System: Corrupted Kingdoms was designed with simplicity in mind to create a fast-paced and adaptable model that supports casual one-night-stands as well as epic long-term affairs. Elements have been borrowed from several famous systems to ensure gameplay is intuitive and inviting. Corrupted Kingdoms is founded with cooperation in mind to encourage players, affectionately referred to as Heroes, to work together in order to Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome.

Core Mechanics: Corrupted Kingdoms attempts to create a system that is easy to learn and rewarding to master. The Core mechanics have been crafted to help players quickly create sexy Heroes that they themselves and others will love to play with. The systems in place allow players to decide on their difficulty and playstyle right from Hero creation in a fun and balanced way. While sex powers many of the game’s engines, Corrupted Kingdoms takes a High Risk, High Reward approach on balancing Heroes and their abilities.

The Setting: A popular VRMMORPG has fallen into the trope of trapping its players within the game itself. In doing so, much of the gameplay and mechanics have taken a sexy turn, where players have to deal with the new Lust Mechanics that act as both a gift and a curse. A massive guild of players has made it their goal to defeat the newly generated Demon God and hopefully return back to reality: a task that has proven far more difficult than any player originally thought. Will you be the Hero that saves humanity from this salacious fate, or will you delve into your Lust and transform this world into your own sexual fantasy? The choice is yours.

If all this has caught your eye, please voice your interest here, or check us out on Discord Discord and try your hand at the Character Creator! Feel free to post your creations if you so wish to do so. We can't wait to see what kind of diabolically sexy Heroes you come up with!

This has been something I've wanted before, simply as a concept. I'm going to go take a look at the rules and chargen and see how I feel, but props for the idea at the very least.

ZephySempai

I appreciate the interest. I am also very open to feedback as well. Enjoy your browsing and feel free to hit me up with any questions :)

Xurtan

This is relatively intriguing, I'll admit. Going through options, I appreciate the synergy of cooking and body fluids relief a lot, actually--I read the latter and immediately wanted to make a character that baked for his party. ;) Possibly some sort of sadist who gets off on their embarrassment as they squirm in public while enjoying his cum-laced baked goods. Maybe with a focus on mental control/manipulation spells for battle. Definitely an overall fun looking system, I'm sort of curious how it plays. What's the general feedback from playtesting been like?

ZephySempai

That's an awesome concept! My intentions were to have Heroes utilize that synergy in order to create foods and potions that provide quick Lust Relief on the fly! I'm glad you picked up on that.

The Tree of Psychics (p.154) has a chain of spells throughout the Tiers that focus on Emotional Manipulation: Calm, Charm, Fear, & Rage Spells all have several advancements throughout the Tiers, as well as some specialty Spells that involve Mind Control and total Subjugation ^_^

We've had one playtest so far with the classic archetypes: Mage, Tank, & Melee DPS. We went through the basic mechanics of Attacking, Defending, and Applying Effort. The testers enjoyed the playthrough and, surprisingly, our dicebot was the only thing we had issues with. Everything else was fairly stable, consistent, and fully playable. I will admit that I was shocked.

I'm hoping to do more playtesting and host a short campaign on E! soon to make sure all the mechanics play nicely with one-another. Plus, ya know, gotta continuously test out the "Relief" mechanics.  ;)

Thanks again for the feedback.

Xurtan

*nods* They're definitely an important aspect, so I'm sure thoroughly testing the Relief aspects is vital. ;)

I'll admit fondness of the idea of providing food for the party and landing them in a metaphorical or literal sticky situation right before (or during?) battle. I'm just helping out, not my fault my glazed pastries taste so amazing, hah.

Good to know as far as the Psychics tree, I was just glancing at that. Looks like it has some fun options. I might see about making a character for funsies. Glad it sounds like the playtest worked out. I'll definitely eye any E games with it. Though I realize most of the games in that style end up a little female leaning for my taste, there's definitely opportunity for smutty fun.

Still, I can tell y'all put a ton of work into it, definitely impressed!

Xurtan

Couple of idle questions. Do we get a Tree to start with or X number of spells? I see the Trees themselves but not whether we start with one, the only thing mentioned is how to get new ones with XP, is that accurate?

For armor and weapons, "If a player doesn’t select a free weapon or armor he is entitled to, they are awarded 10gp as compensation for each empty slot." - This seems to be the only place this is mentioned, unless I'm not seeing where free weapons or armor are mentioned? I see where the costs are, at least. Is the 10gp awarded just for not taking a piece of equipment in that slot, then? And 'equipment' counts as anything, yes? So a slot would be taken up by a tent, or a rations, etc?

ZephySempai

Thanks for the questions

1) All classes and trees are unlocked from the start, allowing you to pick from whichever at any time. You also get to pick 3 starting T1 abilities for Free. For example, You can pick A T1 technique from the Stalwart Tree, a Spell from the Tree of Miracles, and give yourself the Psychic aspect from the Tree of Psychics. Those would be your 3 starting abilities and, as you earn xp, you can get more.

Also, Personalities and Quirks will sometimes give free abilities as well. Aggressive Personality, for example, gives your Hero Martial Arts for free while the Fangs Physical Characteristic gives your hero Tooth & Nail for free :D

As for the startung equipment, it sounds like I forgot to update something somewhere in the doc. I'll give you the more accurate description:

Equipment: From your descriptors you would have worked out what types of tools and equipment you are proficient in. Each Hero is given 5 slots for starting gear and 50 gold to purchase items for those slots. Whatever gold left unspent becomes your starting GP.

Equipment does count as anything, yes. So a weapon, armor piece, a stack of potions, bookbag, and tent would all count as a slot. I won't yell at you if you stack small items into one slot, so like, 3 healing potions or 5 throwing knives can all be stacked in one slot ^^

I'm still going through the doc multiple times a day to try and clarify as much as possible so thanks for pointing out that bit about the equipment. I'll go laser it as soon as I get to a computer. Working on the doc on mobile can be more than cumbersome lol

Fantastic, that all makes sense. And oof, working on anything like that on mobile sounds hellacious! Let's see... another question for you, I'm sure it's explained somewhere but I never quite grokked in--what is an Enabler? Is it basically just 'This ability can be used in enchanting?' That's how I'm taking it from the enchanting section it's mentioned in. *thinks*

Also, balancing question. Why is Flame Touch cheaper to use than Burn, assuming I understand how these work? Both do 3 points of damage, but Flame Touch does it instantly for 1 point versus 2?

"Flame Touch (1 Intellect Point): Your hands become so hot that the next time you touch a creature, you inflict 3 points of fire damage. Action to Cast.

Burn (2 Intellect Points): Touch a creature. That creature’s skin is cursed with a slow-burning anguish that causes 1 point of fire damage each round for 3 rounds. Some enemies are resistant to Burn. Action to Cast."

ZephySempai

Great question.

So there are two types of abilities: Actions and Enablers. They function the same whether they are spells or techniques.

An Action is any spell or technique that requires an Action to initiate. Onslaught is a spell that requires an action to cast just as Backstab is a Technique that requires an action to perform.

An Enabler is an effect that is constantly active. Hard to Touch is an Enabler that makes your Hero skilled in Speed Defense and Greater Curse is a Spell enabler that permanently boosts the effectiveness of Poison Spells.

When it comes to enchanting, it's very similar. An item enchanted with an Action Spell can perform that spell as an action on your Hero’s turn while an Item with an Enabler Spell constantly provides that Enabler's effect to the Hero using it.

Thanks for all the support, by the way. It's helping refine the game. I'm excited to start something with this soon :)

Glad you're enjoying the read so far.

Xurtan

Awesome, that definitely makes sense. On the character sheet, there's 'Increased Capability' and 'Edge of Perfection', but neither show up when I ctrl+F the book. There's "Moving Towards Perfection", which is just above the other 'bought' option Extra Effort--it makes me wonder if they were renamed at some point? Or I'm just not finding them, which is also possible. :p

Xurtan

Draft Character I was playing with. I think everything is set properly... It's an interesting creation system, I like it a decent bit. Definitely easy to find a concept I liked and sort of build on it.

ZephySempai

Just had a chance to respond and he looks awesome! Great use of quirks to get free techniques! He looks like a fine caster that can definitely hold his own in close combat if need be. I also noticed that, as a viewer, the sheet doesn't auto expand for the descriptions area. I'll have to find a way to adjust that...

As for finding those terms, I wouldn't be surprised if I renamed them somewhere in the Upgrades chart. I'm off from work for the next 3 days so I'll be going through the entire book making quality of life changes. From the feedback I've gotten so far I don't believe there is a need for any system changes, so you won't have to reread any of the rules, which is good considering how long the doc is I'll.

Don't forget to add your 2 free Edges to your stat pool BTW. Very important for casting Flame Touch for free ;)

Xurtan

Haha, he's a bit of a dork. Seeing as I doubt most games with this system are liable to be too serious, I might just say what really happened is he accidentally broke the fourth wall and realized he's part of a game, so he decided fuck it, I'm going to go be a baker like Mom wanted. Seems like an appropriately 'mad' secret to learn. And oh, good catch on the Edges. Fixed that.

Honestly though yeah I like this a lot, it has a ton of potential and seems like it could be a ton of fun. The doc is decently long, but when I think of the 900+ page books I've read for systems it seems much shorter. Pretty sure every WoD system I went through was like 'Here read these 2000 pages'.

ZephySempai

That's alot of pages O.O

Naah, I wanted to keep mine short for the time being. My goal is less than 200, though at this point I have all the core information I feel as though I need. Anything else would just be DLC at this point :D

I'm glad you enjoyed making Emi. He looks freaking awesome! I can't wait to see him in action!

Once things get a little more cleaned up (Reformatted the doc, btw. No new information, just cleaned up how it reads) I will attempt to put a group together for a short campaign! YAY

Thanks again for helping out and feel free to make more characters if you'd like. I'll post up some of mine here as well :D

Flagged for interest, but I'm going to need to do some reading before I commit.

edit:  On this occasion, I'm afraid I'll be withdrawing.

Hey Gunmetal. Hope everything is going well. I appreciate the interest flag even if you are unable to participate. Hopefully we'll have a chance to game together in the future.

I made a character also, an armored fighter named Kayla.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1I0guH2fVpx0Hhw1TrYIvx1CuhEsnLlJVQq5iB4yJXsI/edit#gid=0

Kayla looks like an awesome Paladin. Having Stretchy will definitely come in handy considering her Kinks lol. My only ask is that you redo the point section where you allocated your quirks. For the section where you spend characteristic points, be sure to put a minus sign to subtract from your totals instead of adding.

Aside from that, we'll done. She looks lovely and that 5Armor will definitely come in handy lol

Xurtan

So the setting/campaigns are basically based on a VRMMORPG idea, yeah? Sort of musing on what a character would look like in that specifically. Debating reworking Emi or making a new character that 'fits' with that idea a little better, now that I have an idea of how chargen actually works.

c0i9z

I was wondering why I had so many points! I made the adjustments, then a couple of extra ones.
