They say no one is from LA. Hell, some of the people ain't even from this world...

This is the story about ordinary life in Los Angeles for some very unordinary people. All the characters are homages to and inspired by movies and television. Wanna be a sparkly vampire? Cool. Your mother is a car? Cool. Axe-wielding yuppie? Cool. You invented flubber? Cool. It's slices of some very strange lives, seeing how they mix and mingle in the City of Angels.

So I'm just seeing if this is of interest to anyone. It'll be very much a sandbox and I see potential fun in having different universes come together as someone who's a 1930's gangster movie boss could meet a 1970's exploitation flick vigilante and they could argue over a 2000's rom com starlet.

So wanna come to Hollyweird?

What I was thinking is that they'd be original creations from a particular movie/TV universe. Like you could be an old Jedi giving sage advice to people while living in Antelope Valley but you wouldn't be Ben Kenobi. More freedom to mess around with stuff that way. A further example is I was thinking about playing a female marketing exec who can read the minds of women, in other words What Women Want but with someone who doesn't want a redemption arc. Play with the tropes and rules of whatever film or show inspires your character. That make sense?

Character: Cameron McKenna

Inspired By: What Woman Want and What Men Want

Background: Born into an affluent Boston family, Cameron McKenna had a lovely childhood. Life became even better when she was discovered by a modeling agency at sixteen and relocated to Los Angeles.. While she loved the lifestyle and being gushed over, Cameron disliked the travel and odd hours. By 22 she decided she was more interested in calling the shots than being in them so she changed careers to marketing. As she climbed the corporate ladder she still took the occasional local gig, which kept her connected to the industry and her face out in the public. Now 36 Cameron is the creative director at Summit Worldwide, a major marketing and public relations firm. A little less than a year ago an electrical accident in her hot tub gave her the ability to read the minds of other women, not to mention a very healthy settlement from the manufacturer. Cameron has used this gift to cement her position at Summit Worldwide, add to her personal fortune, and to manipulate people for her own amusement.

Talents: Cameron is ruthless and driven, there is little that can make her give up on a target. She is willing to use all her resources to achieve her goals, including her considerable sexual charm. Outwardly she can seem quite warm and friendly, it’s quite possible Cameron is a high-functioning sociopath. She is aided by her experience in marketing, advertising, and PR work along with her mastery of social media. Cameron has learned Spanish in order to work with the growing Latino demographic better and stays fit to maintain her energy level as well as her aesthetic appeal. Her greatest gift is her power to telepathically read the minds of other women and she leverages the information gained very well. This ability can even work over the phone. Cameron doesn’t worry too much about not being able to read the minds of men, she has a pretty good idea what they’re thinking about where she’s around.     

Visual FX: According to her modeling portfolio Cameron McKenna is 5' 9" and 126 pounds with blonde hair, hazel eyes, and measurements of 34D-23-35. This classic LA beauty is thin but fit and usually tanned from her time spent outdoors. She has had work done, namely rhinoplasty and breast augmentation, but it is good work. Her extensive and expensive wardrobe seems to be made up of clothes that are tight fitting, skin revealing, or both. Cameron is aware of her attractiveness and enjoys flaunting it. She can appear quite friendly when she wants to but naturally has a hard edge about her.

Persona: Cameron thrives on having the ability to influence others. At first it was from being privileged at birth, then it was through her attractiveness and sensuality. Now she has her position at a major marketing company to give her the thrill of pushing others to do what she wants. Social media helps feed her need for attention, currently Cameron has over a million followers on Twitter and nearly three million of Instagram. She loves going to hotspots where she can be seen socializing with celebrities she’s worked with. Years of partying in Hollywood have left her with a fondness for alcohol and cocaine. Some of her healthier habits include meditation and yoga. Cameron also enjoys the beach, Boston sports teams, and looking at classic California architecture. She has no interest in a serious relationship, although she does have a BFF-with-benefits from her modeling days named Alexa. Openly bisexual, she views women slightly better than men. The first are mostly pets and the second are mere toys.

Uncensored: In addition to being bi Cameron is an exhibitionist, sexually submissive, an anal slut, and a size queen. She loves performing fellatio, including blowbangs and bukkake. Background: Born in down town New York, Shirley was one of thoses children who tried hard and got no where. She barely made it through the small amount of schooling provided for females in the 30's. She then tried a typing pool only to discover that she couldn't keep the 200 word a minute requirement. Shirley then tried her hand at acting and while she was quiet skilled in this area they blond babe never got a big break. She feature in some bad B rated movies and then her luck changed for the better. Shirley caught the eye of local mafia boss
