And if you can’t find a family that fits quite right I find asking about being another daughters cousin often works well.

So, I finally got off my butt and started working on a CS for this, but I might need some help with connections/bio, if only to make sure I fold into the story with some sense of ease without creating a whole other household from scratch in a game that's already pretty big :)

Just find you a daddy and run to them with open arms...well they would likely have to be a a new character as well unless there was some manner of story reason for you to just show up. Couple of ladies here i think have npc or off camera dads.

You can always start out by putting a general idea of your daughter here and see if there are any moms or dads that are open to a daughter.  If you don’t get interest right away you can just leave your parents as npcs and change them later if someone wants to be her parent.

Yep I'm talking to the DM's about that, i think she will probably just have npc parents until someone wants her as a daughter.

I think I can open up a couple of my characters to have an uncle or a pseudo-father (a father figure she has confided in and trusts more than her biological father). Could PM me for clarification.

Well playing a stepbrother or stepson that is 35 years old is not that bad. But just finding a family to fit into without making a new one is the problem. I think I would be facing.

Step-brother of a father I imagine would be fine.  Step brother to a daughter would not.  Step-son is a no.  I believe.

An uncle or something along those lines would be fine.  But a step-son or step-brother is a no.
