Hey,

I am interested in running a campaign where the whole adventuring party is in an already established and loving polyamorous relationship.  It would require players to play bisexual characters who are open to group sex and multiple partners.  Aside from orgies, I'd like for said relationship to really propel how the PCs handle obstacles (i.e., with compassion and teamwork).

Hmm.  I like the idea of playing out a quadrupple group dynamic while adventuring.  Sounds like an interesting premise.  Count me in.

I am VERY INTERESTED and could play a very bi fem looking (but top/switch) elf wizard. I have played it often. :)

Would there be room for some sort of transmutation specialist? I have a few ideas...

This looks interesting. I wouldn't mind throwing a character in.

I've got my eye on this, at the very least!

That’s a lot of interest!  Does anyone have any suggestions about character creation options or campaign modules?

I wouldnt make us too high a level, say 5th since we are already established as a mega couple. Kingmaker could be interesting. I am begining to like the simplicity of 5e, but you advertised as pathfinder which is good too.

*chuckle* This sounds like balls of fun (excuse the pun). Unfortunately, I know  nothing about the system :(

Have fun with it! <3

I'd be very interested as well.

Maybe instead of my usual innocent girl I would try a war priest of Calistria.  (Or Desna for a bit more balance on the innocent to lewd scale.)

Five is a good level, or seven if you want prestige classes.

Alternatively, if no one else wants to play a guy, i'd love too, but I don't play a good bisexual guy.

How are you wanting to do selection?

I am looking for characters of humble origins who were ostracized from their communities for being in an “abnormal” polyamorous relationship.  The characters would have already been in said relationship for a long time.

Muse, the “innocent girl” wouldn’t fit in line with what I am looking for, and I would be playing at least one of the bisexual men.  Like, I am trying to avoid having knights and stuff like that, or at least anything that wouldn’t universally congeal with the group.

As for choices, I would like to not make all selections by myself.  I guess what I want is for me to select the first character, then we would select the third character, then all three would all choose the fourth character, and so on.  I am definitely a “the more the merrier” sort of guy, especially during group sex.  :)

So they were all already in a big relationship before becoming adventurers? Or did they all have their own individual poly relationships that they were pushed out of their communities for? May need a bit more clarification on this one.

Personally I would suggest allowing a more diverse array of backgrounds, as it would create a stronger theme of different people from different walks of life all being bound together by a common bond of love and community with each other. Maybe keep the idea of them all being rejects who were ostracized from their communities, but not all for the same reasons. I think it'd be more interesting to have something like a common thief and a shamed knight and disowned noble all in the party together. No matter what station they originally started in they were all discarded and wound up finding each other now as equals. Plus I think that would give more opportunities for personal story beats and interactions between all the characters.

For a campaign maybe something involving tracking down some kind of monster or eldritch being. It can be like IT, but instead of the Loser's Club it's the Loser's Guild.

I'd also be looking to play a male in this one.

It depends on the level.  If they are level one characters, it would be relationship—>banishment—>adventurers.  Higher levels would be ostracized—>adventurers—>relationship.

What I want to avoid specifically is “the new person in the relationship” background.  It would subvert the intent of the game.  Otherwise, to me and foe the game, the character history is largely irrelevant.  My main questions are: “can this character get along with everyone?” and “would introducing this character into the party cause unnecessary drama?”

I see. Personally I'd be inclined towards the later then. I think it'd be more interesting that they all found each other during their travels. Maybe some were individuals and others were already in relationships with each other when they joined the group, stuff like that.

And I understand not wanting a new person dynamic. I'm sure regardless of backgrounds they have all been together long enough for that not to be a thing anymore. I think the point I was trying to make is that them being able to all get along despite their backgrounds being diverse would make their relationship look that much stronger as a result.

Would be amusing if the entire party or at least the majority of it were siblings, too. Would also explain why polyamory would cause such outrage as to be banished from communities over it.

I don’t see this game rolling out that way.  Sorry.

Interesting idea, will be keeping an eye on this. Thinking either a protective submissive paladin, or maybe a shapechanger (right now can only think of a kitsune though but will check for other options)

Be keeping an eye on this but couldn’t come up with an idea

I'm interested, I'll admit I have very little experience with more complicated systems, but I've been looking to learn one for a while. If this is something you're willing to deal with, feel free to note me down with interest. I'd probably be looking to making something simpler, likely either fighter or barbarian.
