Shota Aizawa x Serenity Weiss

Author's Notes
Hello, everyone! This is just a bit of story with action, drama, romance, and much more, that I wish to write in my plot in regards to one of my favorite Fandoms: My Hero Academia! I appreciate helpful comments and constructive criticism. Also, if you like it well, which would be super flattering! Then feel free to pitch your ideas too! I do not own any of these photos, they are only face claims (at least for my OC) and the anime is not mine, I am just a lonely girl wanting to write something I enjoy and hope you enjoy too!

Rated PG-13 of course!

As well as properly diagnose and treat them.

Personality: Serenity is, for the most part, introverted. She keeps to her office in which she resides and spends most of her time with any of the animals she watches out for. Living a minimalistic life as possible, she does not own a cell phone, television, and she does not read the newspaper. Her money goes to her most basic needs and supplies for the clinic. While working, Serenity is very kind to her patients and the owners, she is always seen smiling when tending to the animals or talking to the owners about their pets. When she is not treating animals and alone, she is quiet and enjoys a good book. Her social life is nonexistent, she is always working and does not have time to meet friends, never mind going out on the town. She is basically married to her job.1

History: Serenity was raised in America until she was sixteen years old. Then her parents and she moved to Japan due to her parent's career. When she attended high school, she learned some of the language and culture in a lowly populated school. Her parents were quirkless and she was raised with no quirks, so she went to a high school more tailored to the quirkless. When she graduated, she joined her parents business and helped them on a lower level, which was expected of her when she came of age. However, when she was nineteen, her parents were murdered by villains. Unbeknownst to the villains, she saw the whole thing. Being an only child, she inherited her parent's money, but due to circumstances, the business was lost to her and assigned to someone else within the corporate ladder. Perhaps foul play? Serenity was laid off, but with the inheritance, she was able to put herself through college and obtained her Veterinarians degree. After obtaining her degree, she rented out an office to practice and moved in with her new fiance, Roman. However, as the years passed, her clinic was not doing so well. Her Fiance gave her an ultimatum, give up her dead dream job and find something else or be taken off the lease. Serenity knew she could make it successful with hard work and time. However, Roman was not wanting to wait for that to happen, ultimately, he called off the engagement and kicked her out. Now, she is living in her office and couldn't be happier! She is very good with animals and has a way of keeping even the most skittish dog calm. A small number of citizens of the city of Musutafu are loyal clients, she had saved their companion animals where other places couldn't or wouldn't.

Chapter One: A Chance Meeting

Author's Notes
Hello! Here is chapter one to my story! I am thinking of using a format in which each chapter is going to be seen through the two characters eyes, maybe more if I add more characters. So this chapter is through Serenity's eyes as I introduce her! I hope you enjoy it!

The sun was rising slowly over the horizon in the city of Musutafu. The streets were busy with the traffic of the citizens who were all making their morning commute to their jobs. It was a pretty typical day, to say the least. There was one particular office that was already open for business at six o clock in the morning. It happened to be a small veterinarian office ran by one woman. Her clientele included a small number of the city's populace. Her name was slowly being heard by fellow pet owners due to her professionalism as well as her excellent natural gift of being adored by almost every animal she meets. Now only that, but she was also well rounded in understanding animal behaviors, which went hand in hand with her knowledge of curing and mending ailments of many types of pets.

In this office, life could be seen from within. Albeit, it was slow and grumpy. The woman within was setting everything up for the day, and her coffee was not quite finished brewing yet. The woman inside was named Serenity Weiss and she was dressed in black slacks and a long white coat. After counting out her client's medications, the coffee pot had beeped, signifying that the delicious, dark roast was done. The aroma of coffee gently wafted through the room as she turned from her desk at the check-in counter. A small smile was seen on her face as she crossed the room towards the tiny kitchenette.

The building itself had a waiting room which was stationed in front of the check-in counter along with an interview table and some pet supplies made available for purchase. There was also a weighing station for dogs. Near the entrance was a large billboard with postings of missing pets or people adopting out different animals. On the other side of the billboard were multiple thank you letters and pictures of the pets she had saved from dire situations; that part made her proud. In the back was an examination room with another weight machine for smaller pets, like cats or ferrets. By the examination room was a small bathing room. The room Serenity stayed in off hours was the storage room in which serves as her bedroom, with a cot and other items for a bedroom that would accommodate a small room. And of course, there was a bathroom. It was tough living, but it was worth it to the raven-haired girl.

Serenity grabbed a large silver thermos and filled it with a lot of creme and sugar, just how she liked it! With the remaining room, she poured in her coffee and mixed it well. After it was well mixed she topped it off with more coffee. She hummed softly as she screwed the top of the thermos and took a drink. "Yes..." she crooned as the sweet caffeine entered her system. This was her morning ritual.

Now that she had her coffee, she walked over to her desk. She did not have an appointment until twelve o clock. Serenity was seeing a gorgeous great dane to spay her. Trinity was her name. Her owner brought her in as a pup. She was in very bad shape after being attacked by her previous home. The man rescued her and brought her into her clinic for the first time. Serenity helped calm her down and kept her a few days for rehabilitation. After that was done, the man came back to adopt her. Ever since then he brought her in for vet checkups as well as his other pets. Serenity was excited to see Trinity. Trinity absolutely loved the doctor!

As she sipped her coffee, she pulled out her paperwork. In her left hand, she had a pen, scrawling some numbers she copied from her invoices. With her right hand, she used a calculator to crunch the numbers. After about thirty minutes of this, she sat back in her chair a bit. "Shit... Still bleeding..." She frowned deeply as she took another sip of her coffee. It was true, she was still bleeding money. The only reason she was able to be here is because of the greatest loss in her life. Her parents were murdered by villains right in front of her eyes. She was hiding and managed to get away. When she reported it, the cops closed the case and said it was an accident. They would not take her testimony about the villains. Her parents business went to someone else in the higher chain and Serenity was fired. She found this suspicious, but what could a girl without the help of the police do? Absolutely nothing.

Thanks to the inheritance, she was able to put herself through school, get her degree to practice and rent out this office. However, with the monthly rental fee, electricity, pet supplies, and medication, as well as cost of living, she was not able to break even. It was also why her fiance of three years, Roman, called it off. This is why she was living in her office, but she loved it! She had a plan to make more money, she just had to find the right time to implement it. She would not let the last gesture from her parents go to waste.

Even though Serenity lived alone, she was never truly alone. When she returned to write down some more numbers, a large furball of a cat jumped up onto the desk, slowly sniffed the paper then meowed at her, watching with his large green eyes. "Hey, Poe, yeah it does not look good this week, my friend. It is Summer, I was hoping we would pull some more numbers in. Maybe I should try social media to spread the word, " she laughed out loud as her cat gave her a weird look. "It's just an idea, " she pouted, but cheerfully scratched the furball between his ears.

"Yeah, it might soon be time to change it up a little, " she murmured as she took another drink of her coffee. Poe curled up on the paper. She clicked her tongue, "I wasn't finished, you know." Poe ignored her and she sighed, sitting back on the office chair, causing it to lean back and make a soft squeaking noise. "What you should do is find a winning lottery ticket!" She grinned and poked the cat's thigh gently. Poe just looked at her, if cats could roll their eyes, that is what he just did.

"Hm, I guess I can do it later. It is just good to know what I got to see what I can afford this week. The inheritance money is slowly depleting if something does not happen soon..." She was caught off by the door opening, which caused the two to glance over in curiosity. The person who entered was a man dressed in all black with a very long, thin white scarf. His hair was messy and unkempt and his eyes had bags for days. But her attention was brought to what he was holding, a brown box with crudely made holes in the side. Serenity stood immediately and Poe followed. "Hello, sir, can I help you?" She did not recognize him, she figured he was not a client. What was in the box?

She watched as the man walks over to the counter and gently set it down and looked up. He had thin red cuts across his face, must be a cat. "Yes, I found this cat, I think it fell from a tree. This was the closest place, " he was panting, he must have been running! Serenity patiently listened as she walked behind the desk to grab a clipboard and a wet wipe. "I know I don't have an appointment, but could you possibly take a look at it?" His voice was even and stoic but near the end, he had a bit of concern in the words.

Serenity walked from around the counter and smiled warmly, "of course. I will take a look, while I do, would you care to fill out some paperwork so I can admit the cat into the system, " she handed him the clipboard with a pen, "and, here. For your face." She handed him a wet wipe as she still had a smile on her face, "it is what I use to clean the wounds from the animals, it is hypoallergenic and scent free. It will clean and prevent infection."

The man grabbed the clioboard and looked at the wipe she handed him, the tiniest of movement of an eyebrow on his stoic appearance. "Thank you." He grabbed the wipe and sat down, filling out the forms, some parts he appeared hesitant, while rubbing the cuts on his face. It stung a little. He looked up for a moment and watched as the woman stood over the box.

"Now! Let's see this little cutie!" She positively beamed as she walked in front of the box.
