Has anyone seen this series and interested in a group game based on the premise?

I just binge watched the first season, and I loved it. I wish I could get the second season. I will wait until it comes out on Netflix, but I really think it is a great idea for a group game.

I will definitely need a co GM on this, one who likes the series as much as I do and has time to devote to it.

I would have to set up an over arching plot that would involve the AI Director and the missions that the people would undertake. I can see a complex plot of the characters being of the future and dealing with the past. You are the soul of the future character who has lived in a chaotic world of destruction and has an opportunity to fix major events in the past to insure humanities survival. You are thrown into the host body of a person in the past who is about to die.

Besides the moral and ethical questions, there are so many things that can go wrong. If you have not watched the series, I highly recommend it to those who love sci-fi and apocolypse style adventures. What I really like about it, is that the people do not have superpowers, but they are faced with these complex situations and have to use their wits, their skills and their hearts to deal with some pretty heavy stuff.

Let me know if you are interested in being a Co GM or you have any ideas on a character concept. Remember you will be a dual personality of sorts. You have the future person who is thrown into a past person's host body. You have to deal with their life, their job, their families, etc. It can get gloriously complicated. NOT for those who like things simple!

I haven't watched the entire series yet but it is interesting, sort of a combination of Quantum Leap, 12 Monkeys and Continuum. Although I can see a couple of problems with a game based on the show, the characters have a common future history but viewers have little idea what that history is they get round it in the show by Protocol 2 and just don't talk about the future. Also having an Historian like Philip would be difficult to have around as they supposedly know everything that's going to happen.

Also nice to see the Vancouver Actors Guild out in full force, so if Ty Olsson doesn't turn up in the next season I'll be surprised.
If found acting like an idiot, apply Gibbs-slap to reboot system.

I think the important thing about it is the characters and the problems they face.  The idea of the protocols could solve a lot of the issues of the future and we can work together to resolve issues on an OOC basis.

Having a GM run the game as the Director would be the best way to do it, I think. Send the group on missions and they have to work together to solve things. This would not be a game for the faint hearted, you would have to really love deep complex plots, and be willing to play more than one character. Lots of room for npcs and multiple characters interacting.
