The displayed picture further down is required, I very carefully genned it to fit the vision I saw in my head that inspired all of this.

Short Explanation: Girl buys enchanted art set from an estate sale and unwittingly brings an ideal fantasy vampire lover to life without being prepared for the consequences of her actions.

Longer explanation:

Lucy Mitchell has not had an easy life, it's a very lonely one actually… her dad left when she was two and her mother got addicted to drugs as a result to cope with the heartbreak, Lily was then handed over to her mother's sister in New York.

Her Aunt Beatrice and Uncle Ivan had two kids of their own, twin boys three years older than her that took up the majority of their time and their priorities… it always made clear to Lucy that she was a responsibility they hadn't expected or wanted, a burden hoisted upon them by Aunt Beatrice's 'loser sister'.

Growing up, Lucy wasn't bullied by her family, but they ignored her plenty… which to her was almost worse, she felt alone in her own home.

Her talent for art was her only solace, she would create realistic depictions of characters and give them identities, personalities and backstories.

One day, when her art supplies ran low, she took her monthly allowance to head towards town to get more stuff… At least that was the plan until she passed by an estate sale happening at one of the fancier houses in the area… apparently, the guy hosting the estate sale's mom had died and he was trying to get rid of as much of her old stuff.
Among the many items the old woman had collected was a barely used vintage art set complete with inks, oils, pastels, just the total package… the set was worth a lot of money… but the guy just wanted to get all this stuff out of his hair so he could sell the house itself, so he sold it to Lucy for 5 dollars.

When she returns home, Lucy immediate sets to work with her bargain acquired treasure, she decides to create an idea fantasy lover… she draws a beautiful and handsome raven haired vampire complete with a personality, he would be intense and possessive, dangerous to everyone to but her, he would be passionate and seductive, romantic and deep. He would never abandon her and he would protect her from everything that ever brought her fear or pain. Everything she secretly craved. He even had four adorable pet bats.

The next day, Lucy wakes up to find the page gone from her desk, she asks her family even if she knows it's unlikely given how they could care less what she was or wasn't doing, but they know nothing.

Little does she know, the art set had once belonged to a very powerful witch and they were enchanted to give life to whatever the pieces were used to create, all the down to the very intentions of the artist… and her creation is out and about getting himself established before he returns for her… his creator… his beloved…
