Engineer
Grease monkey

I was looking for something to round that out..

Possibly Heavy Gunner or Siege Gunner, or Arsenal.

Also what sort of mech loadout should I be thinking because I'm entirely new at this.

I don't see Arsenal in the Talents list, but I assume you're talking about Walking Armory. Any of those three would work well, but I would go with Walking Armory, personally. It vibes+synergizes with Engineer+Grease Monkey more.

As for your mech loadout, pretty much anything is viable. Take an Everest and slot whatever you want in it. If you go Heavy Gunner, make sure you take a Heavy Ranged weapon. If you take Siege Specialist, make sure you take a Cannon weapon. If you take Walking Armory, make sure to equip a Main Ranged weapon (the weapon Engineer gives you is a Main weapon, and can be Ranged). I would take a lot of grenades/mines/etc to get the most out of Grease Monkey.

Make sure to use https://compcon.app/ to build your mech; it's a really useful tool.

I think I'll probably go with Walking Armoury just for the heck of it.

So I have a weird modifiable Prototype Weapon (that doesn't need a mount)
And then if I take the Smoke Launchers and the Grenades (4sp)
I really want the EVA for 1 (because Meia doesn't want to be caught out in a mech that can't move around in space)

I know I don't want all my weapons to have Loading or limited shots, but I don't really know what to do there.

Honestly, take whatever you think is cool and will be fun for your mech's loadout. It's really hard to build a mech 'wrong', and we have plenty of other mechs that will cover whatever weaknesses yours has. I took the super heavy tempest charge blade and a pair of pistols to represent a mech scale SMG. So I'm super close range. But we have plenty of ranged support players.

I am VERY tempted with this...I have quite a few ideas in my head... >.>

Are slots still open, and what Mech / Concepts have you already got? So I can tailor my idea to not just be filling the same role as somebody else xD

Hey, it's the guy who lead me here! It's been a loooong time.

I think slots are still open, but I'm not the one who has a say in that. And we've got a pretty wide array of mechs/concepts so far. A quick glance over COMP/CON suggests someone tanky wouldn't go amiss. We don't appear to have any Nexus weapon users either. but I wouldn't worry too much about it; Lancer is pretty good at handling random groups.

Oh, I know, I'm in a long term Lancer group ATM. Somebody Tanky...hmm, ok. If somebody wouldn't mind giving me a basic list of who you have, so I can slot somebody in nice and neatly? I have a mid-range Immobilise Vlad build...I also have a teleporting Barbarossa. I could also go Control Drone Kidd...

I enjoy theorycrafting builds xD So just...point me to a gap, and I'll likely have a character who can fill the role. But I don't like doubling up on Mechs, y'know? xD Just a personal thing, hence the question :P

Ups and downs. Life is complicated. Doing okay at the moment though.

Right now we're still all LL0, and we have a bunch of new players who don't know where they want to go from there. I'm personally looking to build into a D/D 288 Caliban. Current other listed target frames are: Saladin, Swallowtail, Minotaur, Pegasus, and an undetermined Striker.

I see, I see...so it sounds like the current gaps are really Hacker, Tank and Artillery? You have somebody thinking about a Sniper build with the Swallowtail, but no Artillery.

In that case...I have two possible ideas.

1. Barbarossa 2 / Balor 3 / Sunzi 1: Artillery. Siege Cannon slapped with a Nanocomposite Adaptation and Overpower Calibre, Blink Grenades and possibly Accelerate. Idea is to move faster than any Barbarossa reasonably should, squat my dummy thicc ass on the objective and proceed to shell the everloving shit out of everything. Apocalypse Rail if I can get it off.

2. Lich 3 / Minotaur 2 / Goblin 1: A more fucky build. Basically, uber spooky hacker, using a LOT of NHPs and Tech Attacks. Idea is to be as annoying as possible to control the battlefield, and with the Lich, be basically impossible to kill.

Which one sounds more useful to the current makeup? Input would be appreciated, since I could go either way here xD

What's the current M/F split atm? Since this is E, things are GOING to get smutty at SOME point. Wanna know if I should look to address an M/f imbalance xD
