Hello,

So, my current writing craving is to write quite a deep and thoughtful piece about a romance between an Older Woman and a younger man.

Ages
My age range for the Man: 22 to 25
My age range for the Woman: Mid/late forties up into her  mid fifties.

The story:
One thing about this story is that I DON'T want it to have any sort of "forbidden" connotations. They aren't related, she's not his teacher, or his boss or anything like that. If there is any sense of the relationship being forbidden it is purely from the unusual nature of the age gap.

They might  both be churchgoers and quite conservative types (at least on their public face) and they maybe meet through church.

She's a widow for the last 5 years. He's a college graduate starting out on his career.

They meet, they become close - they fall for each other.

They maybe even get married before they have sex - although that's a part of the story which I'm open to flexibility on.

He is a smart, good looking young man. She is quite a youthfully minded and gracefully attractive woman for her age.

The elements that appeal to me are to write - probably with some time skips - how this relationship progresses:

The Dynamics
- From the initial connection to becoming romantically connected: How does that happen? How do they cross the social boundary of their age gap to become a romantic couple?

-The initial sexual and social dynamics of their relationship initially: Here, my feeling is the young guy would be quite nervous. She's more sexually experienced than him (if he has any sexual experience at all) and he definitely "Looks up" to the older woman in some regards with her greater life experience and relationship experience. He would feel insecure with her initially.

-How those dynamics change over time: She's only getting ever older, while he is a young, attractive man in the prime of life. She's never going to be able to give him children, and he's going to attract the attention of women half her age regularly for many years to come. Ultimately, she would come to be the one with the insecurities about their relationship perhaps, and requiring reassurance of his love for her.

My idea is to write some chapter/episodes from the start, though the progression of their relationship, perhaps with time skips of weeks, months or even years between chapters.

It would definitely be an erotic piece for sure - but even in the erotic encounters, I'd want to capture the changing tone and character of their relationship.

My idea is it would be largely vanilla romance - BUT, I'm certainly open to a few kinks, and ultimately the story may develop in quite bittersweet directions with melancholic notes on the nature of time, aging, loss...etc.

I'd love to find a lady to write this with, and please do feel free to bring your own ideas and suggestions. This story outline is very much a frame work for us to build ideas on.

One further thought: Because my idea is to write episodes going forward, perhaps years, and even decades into the future, I think it might be nice to start the story with a mild historical element: Perhaps with them meeting in the 1990s - somewhere around there. There are a few reasons for this:
1. It means if we write episodes following their lives over even 20 or 30 years we will be writing within known history which means we can get any little incidental details  about their lives and how they change right, without having to guess what kind of internet or medical technology we might have in 20 years etc
2. The internet wasn't a thing when they met - and I think that makes for a better story for various reasons in terms of them meeting and dating more spontaneously.
3. It makes our 50ish year old  female character something like an early boomer -which I kind of like for fitting her likely life, worldviews and outlooks in some regard.

Please do PM me if this sound a fun writing challenge!
