Fantasy group game (anthro, free-form, horror)(seeking possible co gm)

This idea is still a work in progress so as a group I'd like to round it out.

But im seeking a group of adventurers sent out by a merchant guild to investigate a town where the communications have died off.

I'll be playing the ranger of the group.  I'd like for a decent mix of players.  Also I had the concept of the rangers animal companion being an anthro instead of animal.  Maybe a relationship can spark? Who knows. 

If I gain enough interest I can post more of my ideas and we can develop and discuss more as a group!

Is this story still looking for players? I could offer some co-gm capability as well as a playable character, preferably female. The anthro ranger pet intrigued me though, this part could use some fleshing out... Are all playable characters human then?
