Guilty or Not Guilty II

Guilty. I hurt myself earlier today. I'll spare the gorey details.

Guilty. I had a Reese's Peanut Butter with Caramel Big Cup. It was delicious. I'm glad I only had one in the house.

TNP has stayed up until or past midnight at least once in the last seven days.

TNP has had a snuck a Dr. Pepper in the last month.

Not guilty. I did have a sugared coke in the last month though. (I'm usually strictly Diet Coke or Coke Zero Sugar. Or Pepsi or Store Brand [Refreshe.] I'm not picky ever since I stopped mixing with Rum, which only works with Coke/Vanilla Coke.)

TNP actually prefers diet/sugar free soda to the sugared kind.

Not Guilty. I don't like the aspartame flavor. Though I am trying to cut out sodas all together right now.

TNP has never traveled outside their home country.

To the travel question: Not guilty. I live I the United States and I have been to Costa Rica, Mexico, and Canada. Though Mexico was only to Tijuana to build a couple of houses for Habitat for Humanity and Canada was only in a few cities on a cruise that my Grandparents took us all on to celebrate their 50th anniversary. I never spent the night in either Canada or Mexico.

To the Amazon jungle question: To the new question, Guilty. I've never seen it in person, though of course I've seen it in videos and documentaries and during the Rio Olympics and the World Cup in Brazil.

TNP has run out of gas in their car/bike.

Guilty, I am sure. I couldn't list all of them, or probably even ten of them, but I've read most of this series this year, the 14th (and final, so far) book of which I am about 1/4 of the way through.

TNP has given up on a book midway through before. (Details, please!)

Guilty. I just couldn't get into the type of style Neal Shustermman presents in his book series scythe. I found that it went well at the beginning, but much of the twist and progressions were easily predictable. 

TNP has written a book and been traditionally published.

TNP enjoys to watch the news with coffee every morning before work.

Not guilty. I can barely bring myself to read news, let alone watch it on TV. (And I don't have a TV any more anyway.) And I don't drink coffee more than a few times a year. Only when I DESPERATELY need the energy.

TNP can't stand coffee.

TNP loves Marvel comics and movies

Not guilty. Can't comment on the comics, but the movies... I don't love 'em. Not that I don't enjoy them. They just got very formulaic, because they cracked the secret of making bushels of cash, and stopped innovating. Every movie ends with a pointless, special-effect laden half hour battle in which two basically invulnerable people pummel each other for no reason. The fight gets boring fast, because it serves no purpose except to amuse people who like watching things blow up and/or seek pithy one-liners. Individually, there are some great movies in the series, but as they evolved towards The Avengers and other movies of the ilk, they steadily moved away from having anything interesting or meaningful happen, and became fan-service.
