Odd Jobs [Small Group RP - Gintama'ish]

Before I start rambling on and on about this RP, the meaning of life, Gintama and how those three are all intertwined with one another...Yes, that's how awesome this RP is going to be, cough!... Let me make sure that it's clear that nobody is required to have seen, read or even know of Gintama to roleplay in this particular RP. It will not follow the Gintama storyline or setting to the dot, not even to the comma. It will however be loosely based on the general outlining of the main 'group'.

That will be us: The Odd Jobs. Taking all kinds of meaningless chores, escalating into world-saving events, and getting kicked in the nads for it. Or just plain meaningless chores that involve getting kicked in the nads, because this rp will have *puts shades on*... a kick! Okay, I'll stop...But seriously though, we will all be members of an organization that does random things for random people. However! That does not mean I do not want to see depth to both characters and stories! Characters (Both PC & NPC) can and preferrably should be developed during IC stories, and stories should in turn be hopefully leading to something greater, that somethign does not have to be immediate or obvious at first glance, at all. But keep in mind that even the smallest bug on this planet has its role in the world.  Yes, you have just been compared to an insect and complimented in the same breath, welcome to the Odd Jobs.

I'm looking for a handful of players willing to step into a japanese setting during the times of samurai, ninjas, aliens, robots, laserswords, rebels, monsters, ... I'm not even kidding. This...Is...NotBeatenToDeath...And Gintama!

I should not be joining games but hmmmmm...  Dumb stuff and sillyness hits very close to my heart. Need to keep an eye on this and see what kind of characters show up.

I'm similarly not in a position where I should be taking on more games...but I admit the set up is very tempting.

I know nothing about this Gintama... but Robots and Aliens and Laserswords certainly makes me very interested.

I'd like to know more before I start trying to think up a character. :)
