I loved a good Dark 'n' Stormy back when I was drinking. We did ours with Bundaberg Ginger Beer, and Gosling's Black Seal Rum. But Fever Tree makes a damn good ginger beer to.

I'm not drinking anything, but I see chilled water in my near future.

I prefer Mount Gay out of habit. When I was racing, it was free and plentiful, as they sponsored a lot of regattas, and I prefer it to Black Seal because Black Seal's sweetness approaches being cloying. Bundaberg is a great ginger beer, but hard to find down here, but Fever Tree is everywhere, so Fever Tree it is. As a mixer or on its own as an afternoon pick-me up, it's "Goddamn, I'm awake now."

And it's called that, because a lee shore will wreck you.

I never had one, because it sounded horrible and disgusting to me. Apparently such it was.

Chilled water is what I'm drinking. About to put some more water in to chill. (I have two one-liter Nalgene water bottles, which I fill with water and put in the fridge to cool down. (Water comes out of my kitchen tap, which is where I have to refill them at an unfortunately warm temperature, even when it's at its coldest.

Ice water. Forgot to put my water bottles in the fridge last night, so the water wasn't cool. Had to add ice to one while I put the other one in the fridge to cool.
