Guilty! Seeing Ghost two weeks from today!

Passing it on since it was mine to begin with.

Coven of Corvids

Big? Exciting? Interesting? Me?! I wouldn't dream of it.

Good luck with the move, Lost. Those are always a pain.

The next person has a remarkable talent for drawing.

LostInTheMist

Not guilty. Can't draw a straight line. My sister and my uncle (mother's brother) got all the drawing talent in the family.

TNP has a physical happy place they often visit.

My Current Idea(s)

Current Status (07/02/25): Moving and all its inherent difficulties (plus estate sale prep) will render me largely incommunicado for the next two weeks or so.

Lilias

I've had several physical happy places over time, none of which I'm able to visit anymore  :-(

TNP is fine with vacationing alone.
To go in the dark with a light is to know the light.
To know the dark, go dark. Go without sight,
and find that the dark, too, blooms and sings,
and is traveled by dark feet and dark wings.

Guilty. I like my solitude, even when I'm away from home. I'm honestly usually perfectly happy staying home and not setting an alarm; that's a real vacation to me.

TNP likes going places, but hates the travel to get there.

Xyza

Very Guilty. I just like it once I've reached the destination, but the way there can be tiring and exhausting sometimes. However, it can be worth it. It's part of the adventure.

The next person has slept at an airport once.

I'm back (May 2025)

LostInTheMist

Guilty. On my way back home with a Boy Scout Troop from a week spent sailing in the Florida Keys in 2006, one of our plane's engines exploded shortly after takeoff. We were, thankfully, able to land safely, but there were 40 of us, and we needed to travel together, or largely together to get back. It's not easy to shift a group of 40 to a different flight. We spent the night in the airport, then the airline got us rooms in a hotel for a few hours, long enough for a brief nap and a shower to freshen up. Eventually, the group got split in half, flew into a city a six hour drive from our home destination, and our troop's bus driver drove six hours up to pick us up and six hours back to return us home.

Passing it on, because such stories are always interesting if they are there.

Not guilty! I’ve never been on a plane!

Next person has stolen lunch from a coworker?
Whеn's the last time you tasted blood?
And what would it take to stem the flood?
And I am caught in time...
Like clockwork beneath the permafrost.
I might lose my mind
back to back with oblivion

LostInTheMist

Not guilty. This is probably the greatest crime I could imagine. At some (read: most) of my jobs my lunch was the only enjoyable part of my day. If my lunch were ever stolen (it never has been) it would have ruined the only good thing about my day. So it's not something I could ever bring myself to do, even if the coworker in question really deserved it.

TNP has backed out of a social engagement to spend time alone at home this month.

GUILTY. That is my default setting; I might not want to go, but I want to be invited!

TNP needs to drink more water!

Guilty, especially now that I'm sick.

TNP has mistaken salt for sugar in a drink at least once.

I'm back (May 2025)

LostInTheMist

Not guilty. But once, I thought I was adding salt to clam chowder when I was actually adding sugar. It did not end well.

TNP has cooked something that went disastrously wrong in the last twelve months.

Very guilty, a year is so generous I've probably wrecked several meals in that time, lol.

TNP has burned their mouth on molten pizza cheese at least once.

So Guilty. Maybe more than once.

TNP has spilled a cold drink on themselves in a hurry to cool their mouth from Molten Cheese.

Samael

...that is very oddly specific.
I feel like there is a story behind this.

Not Guilty. Yet.

The next person rocked out in car so hard that others looked at them oddly.

Guilty. Every day of my life. Or, every day I've been in a car? Yeah, catch me belting soundtracks at the top of my lungs.

TNP finished something they have been needing to do this week!

Not guilty. I have a deadline this week, and I have been slacking off on doing it. AAHHH!

TNP has been ‘fake typing’ when someone walked by at work.

I'm back (May 2025)

LostInTheMist

Guilty. I used to sometimes do this at work, with bosses/supervisors who didn't understand that sometimes my work didn't require typing. When compiling/fixing a 100 person order, I literally couldn't do anything else for upwards of 15 minutes while the program lumbered through the process. But once I shifted to working at home, I no longer had to pretend to be working while those processes were going on. For that and a dozen other reasons, I loved working at home.

TNP prefers working in an office/on site to working at home.

TNP likes radishes.

LostInTheMist

I like shredded daikon radish with a little bit of salt or soy sauce. Kinda reminds me of bean sprouts. But not usually a fan of radishes in general. I find the texture unpleasant and the flavor doesn't redeem it. I'm sure I could find a preparation I like, but I've found other preparations for more nutritious vegetables I enjoy more, so I probably won't. So I guess I'm not guilty. At this time, at least.

TNP has had eggs prepared in at least two different ways over the past week.
