Currently a, I think, little known movie, more of a cult classic, called "The Prophecy".

I adore the Soundtrack to it.

Unironically an underrated movie. And to respond to the first post, Knives Out also has a wonderful soundtrack.

I know it's already been mentioned, but the soundtrack to Conan the Barbarian (1982) by the late Basil Pouldoris. That is my all time favorite.
My On and Off list

My other on/off list

Let the Priests of the Raven of dawn, no longer in deadly black, with hoarse note curse the sons of joy. Nor his accepted brethren, whom tyrant, he calls free: lay the bound or build the roof. Nor pale religious letchery call that virginity, that wishes but acts not!

For every thing that lives is Holy.

I agree.

It's also one of my favorite movies.

Currently I have stumbled back into the Tron Legacy Soundtrack.

Im So Tired

I'm so passionate about movie scores! They're so underrated and not talked about nearly enough.

The new "The Wild Robot" movie had a fantastic soundtrack.

"Coraline" has the perfect eerie music that creeps out the audience almost the exact perfect amount.

All the Ghibli movies have superior soundtracks that I listen to non-stop, especially "Castle In the Sky", "Arrietty" and "Howl's Moving Castle".

"Psycho"'s music is incredibly iconic and sticks in my mind every time I think about it.

Observing Trifles

The Shape of Water is in my top five favorite movies of all time, and the score is number one. It's so whimsical and fairytale-like. Can get lost in my thoughts while I listen to it.

This is actually so hard for me to choose, because I love so many. I'm a big horror nerd so I listen to a lot of that, but honestly I think I have to go with either Across the Spiderverse or, as was mentioned above, Tron: Legacy. I lowkey kinda adore Tron: Legacy, but there's no denying that the soundtrack carries a huge part of the film.

Say what you will about the David Gordon Green Halloween trilogy, but Carpenter's score for all three of those is quite possibly his best work, in my opinion.

So, work sometimes plays a couple of instrumentals over the store speakers, in addition to the normal collection of songs.  Iconic ones that I've heard are 'Chariots of Fire' and 'Gonna Fly (theme from Rocky.)

Adding to that, is there anyone who doesn't get a frisson from this one?:

Without question, the Arrival OST. Its some of the most beautiful and haunting music that carries the movies themes and just... ugh, so good.

not accepting new stories.

There's something about the intro to Jurassic Park. Every time I hear it, makes the hair on my neck stand up. It's iconic, and reverent in its measure. I can almost imagine each instrument working to create that specific piece of music.
