Not guilty, though I should really read a lot more.

TNP has a list of projects they want to get done at home this Christmas.

Not guilty. I don't have any long-term projects in mind for the holiday. I have to do chores here as always, and at my Dad's place because my sister is coming to visit, and I'm going to spend at least three nights there myself. But they're chores, not long-term projects.

TNP will be spending at least one night away from home this holiday.

Not guilty.

I'll be working over the next two weeks, so no time to go somewhere else.
(Although it's remote work, so I'll at least be in my home)

The next person thinks that Die Hard is not a Christmas movie.

TNP has never seen It's a Wonderful Life.

The next person is traveling to visit family for the holidays.

Not really guilty. I'll be spending some nights at my Dad's place, but it's in town, just a few minutes' drive away.

TNP opens presents on Christmas Eve, rather than Christmas Day.

It's always been that way here. Kids getting their presents on the eve instead of next day.

The next person doesn't drink on New Years Eve

I rarely celebrate NYE at all just because I usually work New Year's Day, but I no longer work holidays sooo - not guilty, I will indeed have a drink on NYE.

The next person prefers vegetarian chili to traditional chili.

Not guilty. IMO, vegetarian chili doesn't exist. Traditional Texas "chili con carne" also contains no beans. It's just meat in a flavorful, spicy sauce. Certainly there are other chilis out there that contain beans, but in my opinion, if there's no meat, it should be called something else.

TNP is a vegetarian.

While I could certainly live on a vegetarian diet, it just never really was something I pursued.

The next person plans to get drunk during Christmas.

TNP asked for a kitchen applience/utinsils this year.

Not guilty. Everything I got was either something I specifically requested, or given to me by someone who knows what I like.

TNP took a nap at some point this past week.

The next person strongly believes that their favorite mug/cup has an impact on the flavor of drinks. (I am guilty of this)

Not guilty. That said, my favorite mug makes my tea-drinking experience better. It sucks in most regards as a mug. It's big, and the sides are thin. So it loses excessive heat out the top, and the sides quickly reach the temperature of the liquid, and it loses heat through those. But this means that it cools the tea from its starting temperature near boiling to fit for human consumption in about ten minutes. That said, I have to drink it pretty quick from that point, because it continues to cool it and rapidly cools it PAST the point where it's fit for human consumption. But flavor? No, I don't think so. And I wash it after every time I drink tea anyway.

TNP has a favorite tool, utensil, or appliance that has been replaced by a superior version, but they still prefer the old one. (Example, for clarity: a few christmases ago my dad got a new oyster knife with a sleek handle of polished maple, a blade of carbon steel... but he still prefers and uses the stainless steel one with the clumsy handle made of pine.)

That is actually a curious question. I was literally sitting here, thinking for a little bit, if there is such a case for me, and nope, I come up empty.

I just replace something if there is a superior version available.
No regrets.

The next person likes to travel to unusual places.

Guilty. I mean, I don't really know what counts as strange and what doesn't, but when I'm in a new city I like to explore "off the beaten path." I go to local restaurants and not the ones that cater to tourists or visitors. I'm still okay with looking at the recommended museums and stuff, but I'll also ask a local what else is worth looking at.

TNP's favorite restaurant closed permanently during or because of the pandemic.

It was even worse.
It closed, it re-opened, and it closed again.

TNP's favorite animal is unusual

Guilty, given that my favorite animal is the spider. Really, all arachnids that fit in the order Arachnae and Scorpiones. Spiders and scorpions.

Boy howdy, I wish I was guilty. But I'm not. The most "eventful" thing to come is dinner with my Dad at a new Indian Restaurant on Sunday, and figuring out my Monday schedule, and whether or not I'll eat out with my AA group at that time.

TNP has ordered at least one meal from one of the delivery companies (Uber Eats, GrubHub, Door Dash, etc.) in the last 30 days.

Hella guilty. I was at work and the doctor for 12 hours yesterday. By the time I finally got home, I ordered pizza with ricotta cheese and pepperoni on top. It was delicious.

TNP drank coffee with cream in the past 24 hours.

Guilty, I had a very late night coffee and added whole milk and condensed milk, 


TNP is procrastinating on something they have due next week.
