The Last Daughter of Krypton arrives on Earth and is lonely...[F seeking M or F]

I have an idea for a story that's taking an old concept and switching things up a little. I started playing a version of Supergirl in a roleplay and have really enjoyed it. The fairly standard set up is Superman arrives on Earth as a baby and then decades later his older cousin arrives in her own ship. She's supposed to have been there to raise him but her ship got delayed.

But what if she had arrived on time and his ship was delayed. Effectively eighteen years old she's the last of her people and needs to get ready for her baby cousin's imminent arrival. She knows broad strokes about Earth, at least to some degree but she's still an alien. Her first priority is finding her cousin rather than fitting in but I am thinking it was his ship that gets delayed, she'll figure this out and thinks this could work, a few years or decades could leave her far better equipped to raise him.

She's all alone on an alien world and needs to adapt. Your character could be a normal human (a civilian, scientist or government agent) or a hero of one stripe or another. I'm thinking more a slice of life, romance topped off with plenty of smut and just a few sprinkles of action with the focus being on the downtime between events.

She could arrive in modern times or as far back as 1939 when Action Comics 1 had the first appearance of Superman (if we go that far back though the Maid of Might much like the Man of Steel will get up to some Nazi stomping!).

I have tried not to nail down too much to give some wiggle room for my writing partner to go back and forth with me. Feel free to send me a message if you have any interest and ideas you want to suggest.
