The Moon's Serenade (MxF, Werewolf, NWoD inspired)

This idea is a special plot for me and a story I want to be told and not fizzle out.  This story is inspired by the Christian Kane song, Let Me Go.  I first heard this song when I was trying to come up with an idea for a Werewolf NWoD game and I liked the theme of white collared, well off girl with the rough and tumble blue collar guy. 

The plot is in the past YC and MC were together and high school sweethearts when the first Change happened.  He did not understand what happened but it scared him.  At the same time YC father, who never approved of MC, bough him off by threating MC family and their livelihood.  The breakup was traumatic, and YC left Memphis (setting of the city) to put the whole thing behind her.

Fast forward a few years.  MC makes a living by playing cover songs in dive bars and as an private investigator in his grandfather's business (his parents having died when he was a child).  He has come to terms with being what he is, but he does not have much information on it.  He had not encountered  one such as him, and thus all of his knowledge is collected from myth and lore.  He has put his powers to good use in his investigations, especially when it comes to small children.

YC encounters him at a dive bar your friends dragged you two in one of YC's rare trips back home.  What YC is not aware of her father is involved in a criminal enterprise.  What he did not know is the criminal organization is a front for a pack of bale hounds.  In an effort to to strong arm the father, they make a move against her.
