Interest Check for a Silly D&D campaign

Okay this is honestly the silliest idea I've ever come up with, but, the idea is this: It's D&D, but thanks to some ancient magical calamity, everything in the world is made of rubber. Everything. The people, the monsters, the buildings, the trees, you name it. Magic runs thick thanks to that calamity and people do their best to live normal lives, and there's a ton of old caves, ruins, dungeons, and more just waiting to be explored. I'm thinking of doing it in 5th edition, and do a custom setting so I'm not trampling on anything, but I wanna know if people have any interest in a game where your plate armor can be colored pink and is made of stiff rubber plates. Or the monsters are weirdly sexy and most are just looking to, uh, indulge certain desires.

This will be the silliest game I've ever done. Who's in?

Edit: Wild Idea I just had, mid game the party finds a pocket dimension that was protected from the calamity and we find metal, completely baffling everyone with what it is.

Hmm... does everything have resistance to bludgeoning?

I am exceedingly okay with everyone getting a bludgeoning resistance, but I'm not sure what that might do to the balance.

I'm actually glad at least one person was interested, I thought I'd be alone out here!

Just means that you need to focus on piercing and slashing damage as far as the physical damage is concerned. Also, is somewhat balanced just by symmetry of heroes and baddies both having resistance.

I am a little worried how it might mess with unarmed combat, but that can probably be managed. Monks study fighting styles based around attacks that try to pierce, more monsters might have claws...that sort of thing.

But I guess that would not be truth.


Guess if everything is made of rubber skin would be similar to latex while plate armor would be as hard as a truck's tire, right?

About resistance to bludgeoning I actually thought everything would be bludgeoning instead, since we are not talking any plastic but rubber but I'm sure we ca be 'flexible' about it.

Anyway color me interested, and for the sake of bounciness I could try to make a drunken monk. Not sure of the level required to bounce attacks though

Not exactly a bad idea. And yeah, things would have levels of hardness, and such. As for bouncing attacks, what exactly do you mean?

Mostly a counter attack, the drunken master got a swaying waist ability that allows you to attack as a reaction redirecting attack that missed you. It But I would reflavor as being bouncy because, you know, rubber.

Fantastic! I would start us at least at 3rd level, so you'd get the first archetype ability at least.

I just checked and the drunken monk gets the redirect attack ability at level 6 so I guess I'll go for a fighter instead

Liking the ideas people have so far. I think with one more person we could conceivably make a game out of this.

Depending on hwo far you're wanting to take the lusty monsters it's a good excuse for a bunch of things to do non lethal damage.  (Though really, the way everyone heals in a heartbeat without trying in 5th edition is greaet for hentai.)

Alright, well, time to make this proper, I guess.

The calamity in question was thousands of years ago. In this world, people do still age and eventually die, but at a much slower rate (1 year for every 2). It's more a case of old age being the magical energies that sustain your body eventually falling apart, which does make extending your life possible, but it's very inefficient and mostly used so one can put any mortal affairs in order before their soul moves on.

Everyone has resistance to bludgeoning damage. Those that had it already get Immunity.

Skeletal Undead aren't a thing. Undead mostly refers to reanimated rubber bodies, but all effects related to them still work as normal. Elementals also function as normal, with the addition of "Rubber elementals".

I wanna start us at third level. That way you can pick a cool archetype.

I've been looking at this for awhile now, and have to say it's an interesting concept. With the change of rubber does everything still look normal but now has rubber like properties (basically Luffy from one piece) or are we talking like Absorbing man after touching a tire?

And muse on the Hentai front, robber body physics make for some EXCELENT pron fodder.

I guess it depends on how silly we want to make it. On the other hand, perhaps there's a range. Some people are normal looking, others are basically rubber dolls.

The only problem would be the infernal and unending squeaking. I could fully see this being played like a squash and stretch cartoon if ya go mega silly.
but Sizeplay, body alteration and large insertion are also well up the kink ally for this is you go really sexy.

You're gonna have to give me a link for that one. Gender is up to the players, I'm more concerned with the silly. Honestly any sex is probably up to the players since I'm not even sure what direction I wanna take this yet.

I'm open to any of the books. I'd say roll 4d6 drop lowest, for some decent stat rolls. if you do it and it's all a pile of garbage, show me your rolls and I'll let you reroll.
