The Hoard of the Forgotten King (Available - up for adpotion)

It's said that the Forgotten King's Hoard was hidden away from unscrupulous men who would use it to dominate the world. That it held the mysteries of Alexandria, the Aztecs and Mayans, relics of ancient civilizations that are virtually unknown to the modern world, of Atlantis. Throughout history man has studied and hunted for clues, had killed to collect what as known, the bits and pieces of lore that escaped out into the world. Tomb raiders, treasure hunters, mercenaries and soldiers have sought out each piece of the puzzle.

Zack Cahill(MC) was a tomb raider. An ex-special force solider. He had a special interest in the Forgotten King’s Hoard. He first learned of it as young Marine during a mission that went awry. A native to the region where he was, a dying man, shoved the piece of ancient clay into his hands, begging him to hide or destroy it. Zack had, after making a rubbing of the partial tablet, scattering the bits and pieces all over the countryside.

After he retired, he created an outfit that did security/mercenary work around the world. From there he added to his collection of odd and unusual things. Bits and pieces of history that he legitimately purchased or handled. If he found anything unusual, he would usually make a rubbing of it. Researching it took longer because he had no idea where to start. And that’s where he continually came across the name of one of the leading field researcher of his current curiosity about the Forgotten King. Her theories were ridiculed by the mainstream but some of the things she published struck him as intuitive and brilliant. So that is where he found himself driving through the endless sea of sand towards his target, a woman(YC) most called wrong and her theories absurd.
