Good morning Elliquiy players of all kinds!

Do you seek Dungeon delving and adventure without the clunkiness of grid-based combat?
Do you want character interactions and bonds that go beyond Cha +2?
Do you want a game of senseless awesomeness, wild magic, and tons and tons of fucking?
Do you want to make a fucking world with me!?

Dungeon World is an indie ttrpg that uses the Apocalypse World system, a system that mechanically reinforces narrative by having rules that drive fiction. It's super quick to pick up because the rules are chunked into 'moves' that trigger when interesting stuff happens!  Instead of just rolling and getting a flat 'yes/no' result, there are gradations of success, play constantly flows forward, and complications abound!

For this game, I'm looking to play with a group of female adventurers who are the first batch of heroes to emerge into a world post magical-cataclysm. You start in a small thrown together community where you are the standout heroes and the world all around you is dark, mysterious, and full of threats. However, this isn't a low magic gritty world; from your first adventure you'll be finding cool artifacts, working with incredible magics, and growing into the most powerful people in the land!

Think of it like a swashbuckling levels of badass high fantasy world with a little layer of Mad Max gangs out in the wilderness, lots of exploring ruined places for ancient artifacts, and maybe a little community development. And sexiness.

Seeking

I've put below a little bit of code (also posted in the thread itself) for people to fill in regarding what kind of character they would like to play.  I would love to be able to have everyone play but in the interest of not over-reaching beyond what my time can do, I'll be aiming for 4 players MAYBE flexing into 5.  As such, I'll be looking at characters, sexual prefs, etc, and trying to put together the game that will treat all of us best!  You are welcome to put as much into this (and provide additional information) if you wish, but I'm mostly looking for interesting characters.

If you'd like some information on how Dungeon World works, check out it's System Reference Document! But also, legitimately no pressure to do so, I can lead you through pretty much everything!

What I'm looking for in terms of finding characters (because people always ask!) is:
-Interesting Character with description physically and/or personality wise that catches my eye
-Female adventurers who are driven to adventure
-Goodness-of-Fit with kinks/character roles to an adventure with a variety of sexual situations but a good amount of masculine monsters
-People who are here to play, have fun, and not get into drama. I've had some complaints from people who haven't been picked or who didn't like that the game was themed towards being a little fun and silly in the past. Literally the last thing I want from Elliquiy is to be deal with annoyed or passive-aggressive messages in my inbox when I log on. Please don't do that, this isn't the game for it.

In terms of my own kinks and prefs, I will be looking for adult characters and skipping 'small' creatures (like gnomes/halflings/goblins). Think of the weirdness thermometer being set as pretty humanoid types.

Brief Description: At least some physical, some personality
Familiarity With DW/D&D: I'm going to try to fill DMed sections with description and pictures to help, but I'm curious about familiarity with the lore.
How Often Do You Elliquiy?: Daily? Weekly? Constantly but only on weekends? Just give me a little pattern.

We'll be having a thread where we get more detailed, work out stats, and pick playbooks so consider what you want to play in a broad sort of sense.  We can use resources other than the core book (including Class Warfare) so just let me know!

Dungeon World uses classes just like Dungeons & Dragons (and there are MANY fan-made ones so LOTS of options!) so pretty much think of what would be what you are going for from there!   Here are a couple of links!
https://dungeon-world.com/downloads/Dungeon_World_Play_Sheets.pdf
Above is the core Dungeon World classes, basically these are the core D&D classes, but Dungeon World-ified!
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1y-EQ1GUpnhRF6dlMugSRcQBpmVkCmFJFND6b4_TTiew/edit#gid=0
And this a big list of Dungeon World classes!  It says Complete, but it's definitely not quite there!  If you have a specific idea or concept you'd like to seek out, feel free to!  If you have it or can get it, you can likely use it unless I look at it and my brain is burned out by how broken it is!
There's also an additional supplement called Class Warfare that makes classes, but it's a little intensive to get through.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

Sounds lovely, I definitely vibe with high fantasy, so without further adieu:

Adventurer Info
Name: Lexara Pathfinder
Race/Class: Since I don't know DW, I would be looking for some kind of extremely stylish mage or perhaps something with a clockwork theme. Races would take some looking over but I do really like PFs changing so perhaps something similar.
Interested In: wlw interactions, fantasy creatures, ply-stuff and general light heard fantasy.
Brief Description: A playful trickster, with a lot of kindes in her. Someone who greatly values personal freedom and will aid others on a journey to it. Also, while it may be somewhat expected she would be very open about her sexuality and often lewd
Familiarity With DW/D&D: While I never played DW, or any Apocalypse World system. I do have a lot of TTRPG experience mostly with PF 1e and D&D 3.5e, but I played many other systems, be it D&D 5e, World of Darkness, Chronicles of darkness, d20modren, Call of Cthulu or Neuroshima.
How Often Do You Elliquiy?: Mostly daily, altho depending on RIL factors it can fluctuate from ones in three days to server times a day.

Nastara

Cool! One of the things that's super fun Dungeon World is that a lot of world and setting can be defined with players! Stylish mages can certainly be done as could be clockworky things, remnants of times gone!

What kind of look would you be thinking for her?

Adventurer Info
Name: Solianna
Race/Class: Elf Druid
Brief Description: Solianna is an elf druid who has tended to the same strip of forest for her entire life, and has become something of a local legend to the nearby town(s), who think of her as a mystical nymph. There are some who doubt she exists, but still stories circulate of the beautiful maiden with dark hair and skin, and brilliantly light blue eyes, who is covered in white spots like a doe and who wanders the woods naked, tending to all living things in her domain. Having grown up outside of society, she has been slow to learn a sense of shame and the purpose of clothing, and has almost no understanding of how those same societies work. Everything she's ever needed has come from the forest itself. The only times she's interacted with the peoples of the world are when they wander into her domain, and those reactions can run the range from pleasant and light-hearted to violent and dangerous.

However, she now intends to leave her grove behind. An ancient tree, which holds great knowledge of the forest and the history of the world before the fall of magical societies, is dying and can no longer survive in her grove. She has seen it as her personal mission to plant the seeds of this tree somewhere new so that it can continue to thrive and its knowledge can live on.

So, here are my ons & offs. I'm pretty open to most things. In fact, I'm super, super easy going, I think, with only a moratorium on some more extreme things, including beastiality. I love the idea of playing a druid who's been mistaken for a nymph most of her life, with no sense of shame and no concept of how society works, but I have a concern that the nature of the character being able to transform into animals raises the implication that one of the things I'm interested in exploring with this character is beastiality, and that's just not true. So I just wanted to emphasize that point. And yeah, other than my offs, I'm pretty much open to anything. In terms of tone, I like whimsical and fun, as much as I enjoy dark and brooding.

Familiarity With DW/D&D
I don't know anything about Dungeon World (though I have just browsed through the link), but I do have a tiny bit of experience with Dungeons & Dragons. I played a few sessions a few years ago, and tried to run a few solo games here as the DM, but I don't have too too much experience with it overall. I've watched a lot more D&D than I've actually played though, so I'm not totally out of the loop on how it works.

How Often Do You Elliquiy?
I should be pretty active every day, but I did just take a few months off to deal with some personal things, so maybe that's a problem, idk. But I do plan to be around frequently.

Anyway, thanks for setting it up. Best of luck with the game!

Nastara

Solianna sounds lovely!

In terms of animal transformation and beastiality, I'm there with you. There's definitely multiple ways that can be handled, just on fiat as players going "Yup, won't be in sexual situations while transformed" but that could leave her out of the action at times! Could also do something where she takes on animal forms more quickly flickering in and out, or she takes on animalistic aspects (either physically in some kind of transformy furry way, single aspects of animal like growing claws or flicking out wings, or just kind of channeling the power of the animals).

Also, for anyone who likes grabbing pictures, please feel free to do so! I accidentally left it off the code initially. :)

And don't worry at all about lack of Dungeon World or more general D&D experience! It's a great game for learning and doesn't require a starting base! :) I love running for new players and am happy to answer questions now, in game, or later!

Ershin

Oh heck yes, new Dungeon World recruitment!

Darn it XD
In that case my initial thought has been scuppered, but there's plenty more concepts I could try to make a fun character out of (hopefully before recruitment closes)

Just going to leave this list of 406 classes here - https://exposit.github.io/dw-playbooks/

Nastara

I'm guessing this is a weird week for people, so I probably won't charge full speed ahead unless there's very clear open interest!

Oh my God, 406 playbooks?!?! That's WILD.

Yeah, keeping it mostly humanoid with physical aspects and/or some powers/abilities/strengths of the animals would totally work for me!

I'm not huge on finding images, but I'll take a look and see if there's anything like how I'm thinking she looks.

Nastara

No worries! I don't think it's a necessity or anything, especially since you provided some text description!

Hexed

Hi Hi Nastara. Hope you've been well!

That small starting community. Did you have any specifics you wanted kept for the characters? A Fallout style rising from a vault deal? :D

Nastara

Hey Hexed!

I think less immediate than that! I had been thinking that like, there was some big magic catastrophe (details unimportant or learned in game!), a generation or two kind of huddled, traveled, and hid more than anything else, and now we are in a little settlement that's hoping to be more permanent!

Outside of the village walls the world is still filled with weird magical happenings that reverberate out from the calamity, as well as other survivors who have tried to form their own spaces or taken up preying on those weaker!

So less "Fallout haven't seen the world because they've been below ground" and more Moana "we don't leave the village, there's dangers out there!"

So this party is kind of taking on the danger for the community by going out there! Not in charge of things, but a necessary thing to protect from danger and hopefully reclaim some of the world that was lost!

Hexed

Ahhh. The Guardians then. Huh. I wonder if it's possible to make a Destiny (the video game) style guardian in dungeon world.

Anyways. The brutes are fun in the system so once I find a inspiration picture I'll probably offer up a brute force character. :D

Adventurer Info
Name: Valna
Race/Class: Human Thief
Interested In: On/offs can be found here: https://www.f-list.net/c/c0i9z/ , but mostly lost of crazy DW fun!
Brief Description: Valna is quick to action and quick to get herself into trouble. Especially when there's coin to be had. Any trouble she can get herself into, she can get herself out of, is her motto. However, she might have gotten into a bit more trouble than she expected this time and was given a choice, to join those fighting to protect the village or face expulsion.
Familiarity With DW/D&D: Played a few short games of each

As ever, you have my interest  :-) Will see what I can concoct in the near future!

Alright, I ended up reading up on the system and some of the classes. So far bard looks very close to what I had in mind. I suppose the stylish part would be mostly fluff and coming mostly with descriptions of Arcane Arts.

However there few question I have:

Would be any trouble to get a hurdy-gurdy in place of a standard starting instrument? How those this system handles minor items. Stuff like having a bit of spare thread and a button for example? How about large stuff like, say, a pet cat (I do want one). Lastly, I would like to go with changing race and do some fluffing on racial ability. Mostly keeping the elven mechanism but have this knowledge be something foretold in a dream, would that be alright?

I am definitely a fan of Solianna. Definitely not a stranger to furr, and her casual nudity is something I been looking forward to seeing in an RP for a while now.

c0i9z

Arbitrary mundane items are handled with the Adventuring Gear item:

Adventuring gear is a collection of useful mundane items such as chalk, poles, spikes, ropes, etc. When you rummage through your adventuring gear for some useful mundane item, you find what you need and mark off a use.

Of course, after using it, it doesn't disappear. If using it didn't destroy it, it's now another thing you have, whatever it is.

For a cat, at level 2, you could get the Multiclass Dabbler move to grab an Animal Companion from the ranger move list.

Great questions!

Replacing items from the starter package is as simple as asking about it! Swapping instrument type is totally within that, not a problem at all.

c0i9z's explanation is totally right, useful mundane items are handled primarily through Adventuring Gear! Additionally if something is minor enough that it's not to the threshold of Adventuring Gear, you can just have it (if the button and thread is to repair your clothes after a fight, you've just got it! If it's to set a trap for a monster, then it'd be Adventuring Gear)!

If your cat is just a fluff (heh... Fluff) thing you have, I wouldn't worry about taking a move. If you'd like it to help you out, then grabbing that multiclass ranger move will do that at level 2!

The race stuff is SUPER flexible. each playbook only has a couple of listed races, but it's easy to either come up with new moves or apply the old moves to a new race. We can work together to figure out exactly what cool little ability you get!

Valna looks fun! :)

Looking forward to seeing them Chulanowa and Hexed!

Hey Nastara, signing up with Mirwen again. :)

Adventurer Info
Name: Mirwen
Race/Class: elf/sorceress (wild magic)
Interested In: I am interested in women/futa/feminine monsters/feminine futa monsters, Pinned/restrained, fucked to exhaustion/unconsciousness, non-con, dub-con, and gangbangs.

Brief Description: Mirwen is a willowy, busty elf with a hint of blue in her skin and long, silky silver-white hair that is kept clean and styled in a way that looks natural but means she took lots of time to style it, magic is good for maintaining her hair.  When she is in a city, she wears silk robes that flow around her body loosely, with circular designs along the edges. Usually of a white color, and always clean, again magic.  Her travelling clothes are made of finely made brown cotton and sturdy, leaf designs down the front and again always clean, more magic.  Her cloak is a finely made Wool with leaf designs spiralling down.  And her boots are fine crafted sturdy Leather, good for walking long distances and probably the only thing allowed to get dirty. She uses her quarterstaff as a walking stick and it is beautifully carved with leaf designs running down it.  She is always wearing a necklace with a Black Crystal that glows when she uses her magic.  It looks delicately made, but it is well crafted and the clasp is strong.

She has a small smile on her lips all the time, like she finds life amusing. Although, she is a fairly serious person.  She can find common ground with most people, but is reserved until she gets to know you well. Listening to everyone is important, by listening to them you show your caring.   She equates beauty with caring.  Caring for themselves, for others, for what they do.  If you care about something, you put the effort in to make it beautiful as well as functional.  When people care, the world is a much nicer place and people are free to do what makes them happy as long it doesn't infringe on others freedom.  By making sure everything she does is perfect according to her high standards, she is showing her caring.  Of course she discovers she can cast magic, but magic is hard to control, she will learn how to control her magic!  She is a lady in public, and a slut behind closed doors.

Familiarity With DW/D&D: I have never played DW but I am very familiar with D&D.

How Often Do You Elliquiy?: Daily? Weekly? Constantly but only on weekends? Just give me a little pattern.
I am on Elliquiy daily although I don't post every day.  I post when ever I have free time in my schedule, usually getting in several posts a week.  My posts are usually a couple of paragraphs long.

Man I've got a lot of ideas... So far the leading ideas are a Cleric, commoner, fighter, or barbarian. Hmmmm!

Nastara

Hey Keyotess! :)

All of those sound like fun, Chulanowa! And if you want to chat out ideas, you certainly can!

GreenFlame

Feel, I have co clue what abilities would be fitting but I would like to either link them to Hags (D&D monster inspired by Baba Jaga), so perhaps something to do with forest spirits or dreams.

In terms of a cat... I think I will go with multiclassing, having a pet works super well with Arcane Arts and added utility is very much worth a talent.

Also, keyotess reminded me of something. I am low-key interested in playing a futa or a character who has penis only some of the time. They will be a woman through and through, just with slightly different anatomy. How do the rest of ya feel about it?

Wouldn't bother me a bit.

Hexed

Alright. Was poking at making a different one but kinda want to bring the redhead back. So here's Nin again.

Adventurer Info
Name: Nin Nunrui
Race/Class: Human/Brute
Interested In: Men/Women/Trans/Futa/Masculine Monsters/Feminine Monsters/non-con/gangbangs/bondage (Lots of fun for all)

Brief Description: Nin is pale and heavily freckled with a short and thick build. Vibrant ginger locks dance loosly down to her shoulders while glowing violet eyes gleam beneath thick bangs. A ragged cloak covers her from head to feet clad in heavy boots. Her usual garb is an old and threadbare tunic that is a tad to small, the worn fabric clings to her wide shoulders and arms while the swell of her rather lush breasts pulls the hem up enough to expose a strip of her toned stomach. Rough leggings are tucked into her boots, the course fabric stretched and faded in spots.  Patches and rents dot her garments exposing flashes of freckled flesh with every move she makes. Should armor be needed her tunic and leggings are replaced by a suit of faded leather that has almost as many scuffs and small tears as her clothing.

Growing up in a fairly poor orphanage Nin is used to making do with what's on hand and entertaining herself with more physical games. Rough around the edges she's blunt spoken and prefers things to be straightforward. While no longer staying at the orphanage it stays in her thoughts and helps keep her cheerful demener up. She's fairly relaxed when it comes to morals if there's gold in it, unless kids are involved and then she'll put her foot down. Except for a bit set aside for meals she never seems to keep any gold earned as much of it winds up back at the orphanage she was raised in.

Familiarity With DW/D&D: Familiar with D&D and pathfinder. I've touched a couple other systems at convention games and played one game based on the DungeonWorld system a while back. Lore wise I know very little of the DW setting, just a bit from the Fel Library game.
How Often Do You Elliquiy?: Trying to get back into the groove again and aiming for daily checks after work. With hopefully daily or every other day posts.

Yeah! We could definitely find something Hag-Style! There's also ways to fiddle with a class and make them work at level 1. Dungeon World is a system that once you've got it, it's very easy to mix and match!

In terms of PCs with dicks , I'm open to it! I personally sexually am interested in playing the penetrator rather than the penetrated, but there's definitely opportunity for some intra-party fuckery as well! As long as you are cool with monsters focusing on non-dick things! We can all chat and work things out so everyone is happy with sexy possibilities!

And thank you, Hexed! :)

Aaah! I'm loving these characters!! <3
