Specialties:

• Spellcasting -  From childhood, Xandross has been taught the ancient magicks of Clan Druuun, named so after the Dragon God who protected them. He has since become a highly offensive socerer and compliments his martial skills in harmony with creative magic.
• Draconic Features - Xandross is noticeable even among his clan, being much larger and tougher than most Dragonborn. He also has the very rare traits of possessing fully functioning wings and a tail.
• Bolt -  Xandross' most powerful spell, but also his most draining. By utilizing his reservoir of magic, he can summon a bolt of lightning from the sky to smite an enemy. He can only do this once before needing a good rest to try and attempt it again.
• Skilled Fighter - The same as his magic, Xandross has received extensive training in martial combat. He has also trained with sword and shield, and hatchets. He uses a bow well enough to hunt, but don't expect him to try and shoot someone in a fight.
• Draconic Ancestry - All Dragonborn can trace their lineage back to a High Dragon or Dragon God. Because of this connection, all Dragonborn have the natural ability to unleash a breath of elemental power like a true dragon, as well as having natural resistances to that element. The elemental nature of the breath depends on the elemental nature of that Dragonborn's elder dragon. As Xandross is descended from Druuum, a golden Dragon God, he has a 15ft cone of fire breath, and all fire damage is halved due to his resistance. He must rest after each use of his fire breath before he replenishes enough energy to use it again.

Personality:

• Hardened -  While he was shown love, Xandross knows discipline and duty more than anything. And beyond that, once he became old enough to leave his clan and experience the world on his own as an adventurer, he has endured racism, anger, hatred, murder, and so much more by simply being out in the world. It has left a mark on his heart and soul, and changed him. Now he expects trouble, death, destruction, and is more surprised when it doesn't come. He also has a dark sense of humor, but most Dragonborn don't tell many jokes in the first place, so he's still pretty funny.
• Honorable - Words have power. And one's word is their bond. Xandross is a firm believer of speaking truthfully, and doing what is right. He is very honorable and has a code that he will only break under extreme circumstances. He doesn't even like to lie if he can help it, but will if he deems it necessary.
• Dedicated - Xandross has only ever known duty and training and doing what is right for the clan. As a result, he has a level of dedication to tasks that can be seen as outright stubborness. He will not alter his path or stop what he is doing unless it is a truly hopeless endeavor, and he or others will be hurt or killed in further pursuit of said goal.
• Thrill of the Hunt - As he has lived a life of action, advenure, and combat, it is no surprise that Xandross, a Dragonborn is more than a bit attached to anything involving excitement or battle. He genuinely enjoys being locked in life and death struggles, prevailing over his enemies, and claiming glory in victory.
• Righteous Fury -  It is rare for Xandross to truly lose his temper, but it does happen. Usually as the result of him seeing an atrocity or act of cruelty that could have been avoided. Evil for evils sake ignites the fire in the pit of his soul, and causes him to show no mercy. He no longer thinks of the evildoer as an opponent, or enemy to be slain. Instead, he sees them as a stain on the aura of the universe. One that must be cleansed and utterly destroyed. This is a side of him that is rarely seen, but it is truly terrifying to behold Dragonborn Battlemage give in to his anger and instincts.

History:

• Xandross was born to the Drakkon(Clan leader) of Clan Druuun, and his wife. Apocalys and Faella were unable to concieve for years, as constant fighting between the clans and other groups in the nearby areas meant Apocalys was always on some campaign. But a complete victory over a nearby Dragonborn clan meant he and his warband got to come home early, where the entire village held a feast in their honor. After the party, the two lay together and finally had one another. Faella became pregnant a few days after that.
• When Xandross hatched from his egg, it was immediately obvious he was much larger than most hatchlings, and his status as heir to the Drakkon was cemented. The  day of his birth, the sky split and it rained for a week; the clan took that as a sign from their God, Druuun.
• Xandross began his training a few months into his life, and was found to have an affinity for melee combat as well as magic. It was no surprise that his skill mirrored that of his parents, his natural affinity in both being the whole of their two halves. Due to his rank as the Drakkon's heir, as well as having the blessing of Druuun, Xandross was pushed twice as hard as any of the other hatchlings, as so much was expected of him.
• After a lifetime of harsh training, he was finally allowed to fight on behalf of Clan Druuun. He gained valuable experience and learned important lessons when he finally experienced the brutal reality that was war. He quickly showed a profficiency for battle, and forged himself into one of the finest warriors Clan Druuun had. To much dismay, Xandross left his ancestral home at the age of 12, to see the world and experience life to it's fullest as all young Dragonborn do. He joined several companies, took on jobs as bodyguard, mercenary, and more. He's even fought in wars so power hungry men can throw up walls and call themselves King of a Kingdom. He fell in love with the life of an adventurer. However, it was always his duty to return and rule when his fathers time has ended. With Apocalys still in the prime of his life, Xandross has fully embraced a life of travel, hardship, and accomplishment. He has even made quite a name for himself and has several monikers given to him over the past years.

Additional Details

He is an excellent cook.
He plays the lute surprisingly well, although singing(well) is rather hard for Dragonborn.
Dragonborn age fairly differently from humans and even other races. They can walk hours after hatching, have equivalent size and development to a 10 year old human at the age of 3, and reach adulthood at the age of 15.
