Oh. Hell, I missed that the whole party is made of dickheads  XD Uhhhh. Shit. Hewel might not work as-written then. Christ, glad I asked before throwing ALL the detail on that sheet. Lemme hit the drawing board 'gain...

Hmm. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Valaer, with his mischief and charm angle, he seems somewhat close to my character in his main beats, down to employing charm/influence-type spells - Valaer is more focused on those since he's not trying to be an allrounder and less evil than Shirvan, but they very much feel like similar types.

Albeit we overlap it can also mean we get along pretty damn well (similar mind set and such). Or we hate each other how similar we are :P. As it can lead that they both aim to same woman to seduce and fall into contest between them who seduces the woman first (skill or by magic).

However in innermost motives they differ; Shirvan is all about himself and his needs and ready be ruthless. Valaer other hand seeks acceptance of somesort for himself (while be about himself same way but Shirvan has no need to belong to anywhere or seek recognition or gain approval of). Otherwise difference can also fall to exact spells used as well as bard has own list of tricks and sorcerer has others.

I'll want a party of four to start with, so after considering the players and characters presented, the roster will be:

Tavarokk
Soular
Vondoom
Chulanowa

The OOC thread and IC thread will be created soon.

In the meantime, Abadar is a suitable deity for a game about bringing civilization to the wilds.

Also, average starting gold for equipment.

Feel free to ask any questions in the meantime.

Well, as i said, i'm reconsidering the specific character - still the same sort of archetype though (that is, a divine caster, leaning more generalist / combat-helpful). 'Cause hewel would end up being Party Policeman and nobody wants that  ;D

VonDoom

Alright, looking forward to it! I'll adjust my sheet for background skills and will see about his equipment in the evening. Quick question, Autocad - since we're starting at level 1, any thoughts about retraining skills once Versatile Performance comes into play?

Shirvan could definitely get behind duping an otherwise good guy into thinking he/they are a decent lot. Always good to have someone around who genuinely thinks they're there to help.  ;D

Depends on how obviously cutthroat people want to be - Shirvan does enjoy being treated as a hero while actually using villainous methods to achieve his ends.

I've created an OOC thread where you can park your character sheets: https://elliquiy.com/forums/index.php?topic=307814.0

Regarding retraining... probably yes if you ask me nicely. :P

Now, onto the very important question - do we have a designated monarch-to-be for when we get to the "King" part of Kingmaker? I feel it's important to come to an OOC agreement on this to avoid hard feelings later on.

VonDoom

Excellent, because while I love that feature, actually leveling with it without being able to reshuffle those skill points is kind of weird.  ;D

Shirvan would demand the crown for himself happily step forward to accept that burden. Of course, that doesn't mean he has to get it -- simple enough to somehow maneuver events so that he can't or won't want to if we settle on someone else. But I'm putting him forward as an option.

Good luck folks in getting game running. There has been several tries on get it going so do not slog/slow down at all :). As that surely kills the game if anything else.

Jean would be up for it, but it'd really depend on party dynamics and circumstances at that point, I suspect.

On that note, we need to establish how come we're united enough that there won't be any infighting.

VonDoom

After getting everything he deserved back home, Shirvan has had the enlightening thought that having some people he can actually rely on is very useful. He'll use his people skills to get close to others and see how they tick, mostly act like a decent person with the team since they'll have to fight together and trust in each other's skills. He'll gravitate towards taking charge and try to facilitate/smooth relations between group members if any problems reveal themselves.

He'll love it if someone can readily be manipulated into doing 'the right thing', though if Chul changes his character, it might only come up with NPCs.

If there's another good reason, all the better! He won't need a bomb planted into his neck to cooperate or anything though.

Or if Autocad wants run 5 people I could play more naive sort 'hero' type (class pending) which Shirvan can easily manipulate and lie to.

I am looking for one new player to replace a missing player.

Captain America

I will try to whip up a wizard. I've not done pathfinder more.than a single session so if something seems off lore/setting wise feel free to offer or just make a change as needed. I just want the game to work well.
