You should have it be a sound. That way the crowd gets in it. When that sound... creepy sound comes on,  and people know the beast is loose. Or this heroic sound that shows he's "normal"

Do you think it should be the driving force of his change or like an announcement? Either way both sound awesome. Thanks!

Hey! Long time no see! 😄

Hello, my apologies for a very late delay, i did not see your post. How's it going?

Crash

Having some pain issues that are keeping me from posting.  I will apply at a later date when I am feeling better.  Go ahead and free up my face claims for now.

I am actually very interested in this. I was for a long time an independent wrestler but due to a major injury became a manager only. I would like to just be someone's manager if that is an option!

dshadow

You can manage either of my wrestlers if you want: The Rock or Jay. But both of them are kind of standalone mouthy trash talkers. So a manager who can match that intensity or compliment it or work back and forth comedically with them. Someone with experience is a +

Lynnie

If they are heels then yea I can manage them. I hated when i managed a face though. Heels where more my style. Hell I had my own music and name and used to come out before the wrestler. The Diva Lucile Rich managed a wrestler The Rockstar Jason Young. Yeah it amazing.  I miss it so.

Untamed Skies

The honest truth at the moment is we're lacking in interest to get this game off the ground. I appreciate your interest and you are more then welcome to reserve a face if you'd like.

But this may be an idea that needs to be tried again at another time.

dshadow

Hmm...could we increase the number of wrestlers by double?

If each person could have 4 wrestlers and a manager we have 5 people that's a roster of 20 + potentially 5 managers.

That would be enough to compete for one belt I would think, hold off on teams. Once people see what they are up to we could have an official process for new wrestlers - like an NXT division or something.

I don't know about anyone else but if we are deciding by coin toss style who wins the match - then if it ends up one of your wrestlers vs one of your wrestlers - instead of rping the match at least we'd have a winner!

BTW Lynnie - The Rock is Babyface but Jay I hadn't yet decided (Which is why his profile isn't up). I think he'd be an awesome heel (Probably get his ass kicked a lot too so a manager to cheat on his behalf is a good idea) In terms of trash talking and being a little punk I think he works well too. Maybe hell one day start the stable D-Next-Generation X (Oooo that's catchy. Just made it up)

Lynnie

Oh hi again dshadow! I do love my heels and one that is a punk who needs his manager to pull some dirty tricks is my speciality, in fact I once grabbed the face's shoe and lifted it making it look like he kicked me allowing my client to win the match because he was freaking out that he hit me.

I loved that group the guys treated me like one of his own.

dshadow

Awesome yeah if we can get this thing off the ground then jason Mewes would love to have a manager!

Lynnie

I would happily make a manager for him. Woot, so far two managers will need profiles made then. Josh A. and I were in talks of me playing a manager for him as well. I am looking forward to it, though with both of you having very sexy wrestlers for me to manage I may have to have their managers make sure they focus on their matches and her by giving them special trainings ;)

That's not a bad idea, it'd solve the roster issue, but I feel it'd only be a short term solution for the game. I see two really potentially big problems that could stem from it.

1.) It'd force a individual writer to manage as many as five different characters at once, which is asking players to take on a rather large burden and runs the risk both of writers simply getting burnt out, or causing certain characters to be placed on the back burner.
2.) While it solves the roster problem in the moment, if one of the writers were forced to back out because of complications in real life, or simply lose interest as happens, and they had 5 characters, then just like that we're losing a 5th of the roster, and we're basically back to square one.

I'd encourage players to poke any friends who might be interested in this game, otherwise maybe we'll continue to attract some stray people enough to get it going. As of right now in order for this game to really come out and be fun, I feel we need more writers.

Lynnie

I am attempting to get another former wrestler into the game who could easily write a couple of wrestlers but he has been having muse troubles and it has almost made it to the point he can't write at all. :( So it is taking some major encouragement.

Lynnie

Sorry for the double post but face claiming

Tarja Turunen Manager for Josh Arcanum's Crow Wrestler

Emma Anzai for dshadow's Jason Mewes

I hear your concerns and have some feedback.

1. Wrestling rpers have a passion for the sport and industry and i think most of us wouldnt consider it a burden to write more. Also because of a wrestling rp format i think required writing won't be as often as youd believe unless your the one having the match. Also, i think wed have just as much fun catching up and reading the other matches when we aren't in one. If i have 4 wrestlers i am okay if 1 or 2 are on the backburner. In fact i would be more concerned with that point if i had less wrestlers. Thats my 2c feel free and correct my assertions if im mistaken.
2. Rpers back out all the time. Thats why keep recruiting always!! People come &go. Its the nature of rp. But dont let that hamper a great idea!! Be proud and it will attract others. I for one wouldnt say were ever back at sq 1 because sq 1 is not roleplaying talking about this great idea and trying to make it perfect before it even gets a chance to make it.

My response is basically be confident and go forward. Its a good life lesson too. Leaps of faith need to happen to make anything great. Its not even a business. Your life savings arent in it. Ya know? Its a game. What do you have to lose

Instead of i wish we had more writers!!

How can we make it work with the writers we do have?
