TheBlackThrone

I feel that we have enough people to start this game off. It is already Friday for me. I will work on an OOC, Character Thread, and IC when I get done with work. I already have an event in mind to start us off. :-)

It occurs to me that once Belle learns of Cruella and Tinkerbell's immortality she be very interested in them. She might try to team up with Cruella, or capture Tinkerbell for experiments. And I think she would consider Bianca a pretender to her throne as Queen of Enchantment once she learned of her empathic powers.

That could be an interesting storyline.

Bianca really doesn't flaunt her powers because she thinks that manipulating someone's emotions is fundamentally wrong and avoids it if she can. I think she would have a very intense dislike of Belle and how she manipulates people. Perhaps she could even sense when she encounters one of Belle's thralls that is is not a natural love they are feeling? We'll have to discus that.

Empyrean

Yeah. Belle would think Bianca was an idiot for not manipulating people with her powers. To her, people are just there to be used and she would have an intense dislike and distrust of Bianca for not understanding that simple fact.

She would have to learn that Bianca even has powers. DAGGER is a covert organization. Belle wouldn't see any of the agents unless she was incriminating herself, and since she uses minions, she has an even less opportunity to interact with DAGGER agents.

Ah. Hm. Fair point. Belle is surprisingly risk-averse when it comes to risking herself.

I'm going to be posting the threads up tomorrow. lol I almost forgot that I was a supposed to be doing that. I got caught up in the weekend.  O:)

And here is the IC thread!

IC

We're still recruiting. Always will be because this is a big world where anything can happen so feel free to keep the applications coming!

We still need there to be a Hero League.

Currently the SHIELD-like organization is DAGGER in this game and DAGGER will always be accepting agents.

Try not to claim another character for the sole purpose of making them a weapon or utility. Genie is a potentially playable character that anyone can accept or even gender-bend.

I don't mean to sound dopey (hmm...now there's an idea) but I'm confused what you meant by this. I didn't mean I'd be using the Genie if I was playing as Jafar, I simply meant that, depending on your limits for what kind of powers are too much for a character, I'd probably be basing Jafar's power set on what he could do before the Genie made him into a sorcerer or fellow genie, not that Genie would be in his possession or under his thrall in any way. Is that what you meant? Because that wasn't the intention, so hopefully that's the only concern. Anyone else is perfectly free to pick the Genie as their character and for him to have had no contact with Jafar at all if they choose.

But if you need more heroes than villains (and if that little confusing matter before is just a misunderstanding on my part) I'll rethink things and see about making a hero. Question though: are characters from Pixar, direct-to-DVD (or theatrically released, rare as that is) sequels, or some of the animated spin-off series eligible? There's Aladdin, Little Mermaid and Hercules that got their own shows outside of their movies and there are a few characters I might want to get creative with if that's not a taboo for this game.
Considering a permanent retirement from Elliquiy, but you can find me on Blue Moon (under the same username).

If it has a Disney label on it and it's not any of the banned franchises mentioned in the OP, then it's doable.

That made me think of Megavolt, which made me think of Darkwing Duck. Oh, the temptation.

*hums the Darkwing Duck theme*

Ah, childhood memories. That and Gargoyles. :p

Mathim

I never got to see Gargoyles. Wish they'd just release the entire series in one package instead of making the 'season 1 part 1' crap they make hard enough to find as it is.

Mellific

Apparently I went through a Gargolyes-fan-phase because I remember forcing friends and babysitters to watch with me when my parents got sick of it being on all the time. My set even came with a Gargoyles-themed game. Not that I ever played it. xD

Honestly, I could genuinely see his voice actor, John C. Reilly, being that.

I could see that, and would commend you for using him, if you decide to do so!  ;D

Okay, I'll get started on the profile. Hopefully this will do for now:

Character Name: Rex Rolfe
Franchise: Wreck-It Ralph
Hero/Villain Name: Wreck-It Ralph
Age: 44
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 260 lbs
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Occupation: Security Company Manager
Visual Description:

Written Description: He's middle-aged, slightly more tubby than muscular despite being very strong. Balding in the middle but with thick hair around the edges still. Nose looks like it's been broken multiple times (because it has). Extremely dry, rough skin for most of his body due to a rough lifestyle only now living somewhat comfortably due to being promoted in his private security firm. A few random scars scattered throughout his body, none of them from bullets.
Personality: He believes in justice, that standing by and watching something happen is tantamount to doing the action yourself. Whether or not he is wanted to get involved, he will if he believes it is necessary. It's one of the main reasons he's incurred more injuries on the job than most of his co-workers throughout the years. It's also kept him from settling down, but also due to him not ever quite feeling like he belongs, so there's a lot of self-doubt along with not fully understanding his own identity.
Character Story: Ralph's journey of self-discovery throughout the arcade led him to accept his role as the villain in his own game, but didn't let that tie him down to it. He still sought grander horizons and more experience in the greater universe, and while it would all cause him to continue to evolve, perhaps creating an inability to settle on any one conclusion, he nevertheless continued his journey.
Weapons: Ralph doesn't tend to use melee weapons but he is capable of throwing heavy objects as projectiles, if necessary to hit distant targets.
Super Powers: Ralph's great strength in his game manifests in Rex as enhanced arm strength, further bolstered by the fact that his proportions are smaller and the great power becomes condensed and more concentrated. Further, his blows generate varying degrees of shockwaves in addition to the simple brute force, allowing certain very hard objects to crumble more easily under his fists, not unlike the effect his fists have on the building in Fix-It Felix. His strength also allows him to throw things, even heavier and larger than himself, a fair distance and speed. He can also kick with enhanced power but prefers using his arms. He can also fall a significant distance and absorb the impact through his powerful legs.
Transport: An extremely misshapen jalopy, a gift from 'and old friend' who made it herself.
Pets: A pet spider in a terrarium, called Madam Cy
Friends: TBD
Rivals: TBD
Enemies: TBD
