1) In your version of the world MP how odd/rare are the anthromorphs? Or humans for that matter.

No joke.  I considered an RWBY-ish take where the Tycherosi were all Faunus...but didn't.  Animorphs are a part of this setting.  So are Humans.  What you look like is a bit less important than what you do.     So there's no official decision on that.  Suffice to say that these are not the only catgirls in the world, or even in Doskvol.

2) In the game how annoying/frequent are ghosts and demons? Often enough I should think of swapping her to that talent to actually hurt ghosts instead of her current one?

Annoying and frequent.  Or at least annoying and frequent enough that Whispers have plenty to do.

I can, actually. One of the Hound items (that does count for load) is Electroplasmic rounds. Electroplasm being a charged, anti-ghost chemical, basically, derived from the blood of Leviathans.

I took some of the legwork out of Crew construction, but not all of it.  You still get to choose your rep (ambitious, brutal, daring, honorable,
professional, savvy, subtle, or strange), your preferred activity on your hunting grounds (burglary, espionage, robbery, or sabotage), and your favorite contact (Dowler, an explorer; Laroze, a bluecoat; Amancio, a deal broker; Fitz, a collector; Adelaide Phroaig, a noble; or Rigney, a tavern owner).

Rep Choice: Professional
Preferred Activity: Espionage with a side of sabotage
Favorite Contact: Laroze, the bluecoat.  Because having the law on your side can be useful.

EDIT: Lurks...good for equipment, decent for abilities, kind of shoehorned with starting dots when it comes to Shadows...MP?  We normally get 2 dots for free, and a dot that depends on both of our Backstory categories, right?

You get three dots from your playbook, one each from background and heritage, and two more.  So no, Lurks are not shoehorned for starting dots when it comes to Shadows: you can use that free dot to increase something to 3.

Everyone Steals: Each PC may add +1 action rating to Prowl, Finesse, or Tinker (up to a max rating of 3).

What I meant more was that Lurks start with Finesse 1 and Prowl 2, so unless you want to increase something you've already got, you're pretty much stuck using Tinker.  Though having Tinker can be good - isn't that what you use for locked doors and other such things?

Yes.  It makes you MUCH better at being a Thief.  And makes everybody else a little bit better at being one, too. That's kind of the point of Everybody Steals, neh?

That is correct.  Fill the XP track, get another dot for one of the four actions associated with that category.

That is exactly right.  You roll an Action when you want to overcome a given situation in the fiction.  You roll an Attribute when you are trying to resist the consequences of an Action.  (But you do not roll twice for the same thing: failing an Action may mean falling off a roof.  What you're rolling to Resist is how badly hurt you are when you land.)
