A good friend of mine frequently shows me pictures she thinks I'll like. This one made me almost need a new pair of panties.

A group of five anthro pirates, on a nice little pirate sloop.

Obviously this is a limited membership game. We have:

Personality: Whiskey is a totally ruthless sadistic bitch of a cat. She loves inflicting pain and has no problem putting a bullet in someone - or running them through with her cutlass, for the slightest provocation. Possibly one reason why she has such a small crew! She enjoys the freedom of the open seas and would rather die than be imprisoned or confined to land. She enforces her leadership through pain as well as through sexually dominating the rest of her crew.

History: Whiskey ran away from an abusive father and a drunken mother when she was barely more than a kitten. She disguised herself as a boy and worked passage to the new world on a cargo sloop. On reaching port, she found she liked the life so much that she stayed. The sloop was attacked and taken by pirates, and Whiskey was given a choice, join the pirates or die. She chose to join them. However as a test, she was forced to murder one of the other crew members.

She found this surprisingly easy, and was quickly accepted into the crew. However her next rite of passage threatened to expose her when she was told to rape a captive girl. Fortunately she was prepared and had a carved wooden "member" concealed on her, which she used. It was about this time that she discovered a liking for sex with women.

However it wasn't long before the captain of the pirate ship, a rat named Bubonic Jake found her out, when she was easing the bindings over her developing breasts. He dragged her to his cabin and tried to rape her, but she killed him instead. She then set about purging the crew, discovering in the process a number of other women disguised as men. Since then she has run an all-female pirate crew.

You want a plot? Okay well how's this: Pirate ship cruising the seven seas, raids a merchant vessel, takes the valuables on board, kidnaps the passengers, and sinks the ship. The passengers happen to include one really sexy female furry (species TBC) who is the daughter of the governor of a nearby Island. She says that her father will pay a huge ransom to free her...

Chrystal, I thought I would help with the world-building a little by coming up with some ideas for the island my character is from. Feel free to use this if you like it.  :-)

New Essex

The island of New Essex lies off the coast of New England. Most of the island is devoted to farming and fishing, and the largest settlement is Jamestown—this is where all the island’s commerce with the outside world takes place.

New Essex was colonized by the Munsterites, a puritanical religious group which is a schism from the Church of England. This highly repressive faith broke from the Church over its radical doctrine that only rodent species are God’s chosen people, and also the belief of its founder that Communion wafers must be made of munster cheese.

On the island of New Essex only males of rodent species may own land or vote in town hall meetings, and most non-rodents allowed permanent residence arrive as indentured servants. Sex is only legal within marriage for purposes of procreation and alcohol is banned. The laws of New Essex are very draconian—very minor offenses are punished by being locked in the stocks for long periods of time, and anything serious leads to a hanging. Despite all this, Jamestown itself has a hidden, seedy underbelly for those who know where to look. Hypocrisy abounds—often the same men who spend their nights involved in drunken debauchery yell of fire and brimstone in the churches by day. In practice, all the strict laws really only apply to women and the poor.

The Governor of New Essex, Charles Ward, is extremely determined to rid the surrounding waters of piracy. In the past he has been known to call upon the navy, arm merchant vessels, or even hire assassins.



Oh also I found a picture I really liked and put it on the wiki. It's not a perfect fit due to modern touches (and also that at least initially my character will be very sexually repressed) but I see this as how she looks otherwise:

However, I'm sure you can see from the cast list above, following my "bump"... I got no interest whatever. So that automatically opened the game to anyone.

I would still prefer female players for the pirates, but it's a bit late for that.

All the remaining characters are basically captives, slaves, victims, playthings. They can be passengers and/or crew of the captured merchant ship.

Now, I'm quite sure that not every female pirate on board the ship is exclusively into girls. I'm sure that a couple of nice meaty boy prisoners would go down a treat too! I know for a fact that I would love to have a boy prisoner to torment...!

Personality: Reserved and sweet, Malina is seen as something of a motherly type for sailors comming home.

History: Marina grew up in a thriving port city, where her mother would cook and sing for sailors that came by. Marina would note that her mother cooked for every sailor like she did for her father, whom was also a sailor. When she asked why her mother only smiled and told her that the more she got her name out there, the faster it would get to her mate and the faster he would speed home to his waiting family. Marina loved this answer and took to cooking and singing like  her mother though she added the sewing ability because the neighborhood spinster had said a man likes it if a woman is good with her hands in this way as well as cooking.

Needless to say Marina never heard of her father again until her mother got the news that her father had died at sea in a terrible storm. Seeing her mother heartbroken only increased her desire to continue what her mother did, and after a time of grieving, she and her mother worked her shop until her mother's death a few years later, since then, she has managed on her own in that same port town, having the reputation of 'Port mother' for her sweet demeanor and motherly nature towards others.

A good jack of all trades to have around a busy ship. Knows a little about navel combat as the ship he worked on was an armed one, but he had only just started to learn so he is far from competent in that area.

Likes: being kept busy with work, a job well done, and a nice pie ever now and then.
Dislikes: Storms, hates storms at sea, they freak him right the heck out. He also doesn't like bitter foods, or cannon fire.
Personality: A rather gentle soul, while first to speak up for his opinions he doesn't really have the wit or skill to fight for them at the end of the day.

History: Chris never much liked where he lived, found his small town home boring and the job of farming horrible dull. As soon as he was 16 he left for the nearest port town and has been hoping from ship job to ship job ever since. He found the traveling and life at sea mostly to his liking, with a few exceptions, but the good often outweighed the bad. He enjoyed the simple pleasure of tying a good knot to keep the sails firm, or the sense of accomplishment that came as he unloaded the last bit of cargo. He felt more at home on sea than on land.

Whatever ship he found himself on would soon dub him the "Gentle Giant" of the crew, as he was often the most tall and strong of the deck hands, though growing up on a farm he had never been much for conflict or fighting with other people. Lord knows they tried to teach him, but it didn't seem in his nature to harm others so the learning was slow. To be fair he could often intimidate aggressors into back off with his stature alone.

The last ship he was on was attacked and over taken by a pirate crew, and now he seems to find himself at there mercy.

Personality: Playful, and likes to tease anyone that's around her. While she laughs in the face of danger and smacks at authority figures with the exception of captain Joan.  The poor lynx had been broken down by the captain when she had taken her place among the crew.

History: Aliya Black was born on a small island off the coast of France, and grew up around the docks. She would spend her childhood watching the ships coming and going, and hearing the stories of piracy and adventures out in the open seas. She picked up swordplay, and how to utilize firearms from the sailors that passes through the islands.

On the day of her 17th birthday, she quickly stows away on a ship heading towards the Caribbean islands. Upon arrival to her destination nearly 6 months later, she quickly jumps the ship and touches new land for the first time. It was there she finds out about an pirate ship crewed by only females, and thought this would be a good start without having to fear about being raped or molested by crewmembers. She was wrong as on the first week out at sea, her new captain had quickly enforced the pecking order of the ship by tormenting and sexually abusing the poor lynx. This would not stop until the lynx fully accepted the captain Joan's authority, and even then her body had long craved the captain's touch.

After that week, Aliya had become a valued member of the crew and worked hard to maintain her place...though partially also to please her captain thanks to the initial training she had received. Thanks to ability as a tattoo artist, she had even helped the captain, or anyone else in the ship, leave their marks on any captives.

Initially she is racist toward non-rodents, in a condescending but sympathetic way. Also at first she is very sexually repressed and in denial about being a lesbian. She often fantasizes about being raped, because in her mind if she has no choice then it is not a sin.

History: Clara is the daughter of Charles Ward, the exceedingly wealthy governor of the island of New Essex (see below). She was raised a strict Munsterite. Personality: Mika is a very shy girl, though she is kind to everyone she meets. She does have bad thoughts about certain people, but for the most part, she keeps them to herself. She can become very perverted and needing in certain 'situations'.

History: Mika was a slave from birth. She was first owned by a sailor on a ship that the captain and her crew took over. As is customary for a ship's gold and other properties, to the victors go the spoils; Therefore, ownership of Mika was transferred over to the captain, as well as any of the crewmates that wished to take partial ownership of her. Mika is deemed to be a slave for her whole life or until her owner deems her worthy of freedom.

Personality: Bon-Bon is a rather comical figure. He is good humoured, but on the timid side. He often answers with sarcasm and jokes when he is afraid. Despite his somewhat rough appearance, he is not as rough as one could assume. He knows how to fight, but reluctantly do so.

History: Being born in a French colony in the Caribbean, Bon-Bon was divided between the native life of his mother and the French life of his father. He always enjoyed the sea and the adventures it held. After turning 20, he set out on the seas, joining a small fishing crew at first that travelled from island to island. It wasn't until a year later that he found himself on a merchant vessel, unaware of what lied in store for him.

Character is approved, however, Jos, please could you edit to move New Essex to the Windward Islands? I think the coast of New England in the late 18th century would have been a bit too hot... what with those damned colonials rebelling against their rightful overlords! lol...

Besides, 90% of the pirate activity in the world actually took place in the Caribbean

NC-Exotic Small Groups or Extreme Small Groups?

If we go in N/C, that means no graphic descriptions of violence, it also means no watersports (So no swimming, water-skiing, scuba diving etc.... *giggles* No, but seriously, no bathroom play), no blood play (of either sort: menstruation or cutting). Also no bestiality, although in a furry world that's kind-of moot anyway!

Extreme allows all the above, which for some people might be a bad thing? However, I always insist that if you don't like something, all you need do is say you don't like it and the other player must edit their post. (Having your character say he/she doesn't like it, however, is the same as you saying you do like it!)

Once I know where we are putting this, I will open an OOC thread.

NOTE: this is not a majority vote. If everyone says "Extreme" we go extreme. If one person says "N/C", we go N/C.

If more than half say Extreme and the rest don't express an opinion, we will go Extreme!

Chrystal, will the game be starting before or after all the people on the merchant ship are captured? Technically Mika will no longer be Clara's servant as soon as they are both captured and made slaves.

It would be a lot of fun if Mika got to turn the tables on Clara and force her to be submissive--maybe Joan gives Mika permission to humiliate and play with Clara. Its possible in the past that Clara might have abused her authority a little in moments of weakness, for example spanking Mika for dropping a cup of tea or forcing her to undress to prove she had not stolen something.

Jos, to answer your question, I was planning on starting on two separate ships, because what's the point of being a pirate if you can't have a fight?

So, the five pirate crew characters listed in the first post in this thread are on board the Pirate Cutter Sabre Fang.



The above is a cutter of the late 18th century era. It's actually a replica of a British Revenue cutter, the sort of vessel that the Royal Navy would have used to enforce trade tariffs, and also to attack pirates. Pirates would naturally desire such ships for themselves, being light, fast, highly manoeuvrable and well armed, but capable of being handled by a small crew.

So just replace the "red duster" (British Merchant Navy flag) with this one...


And you have our pirate ship!

The other ship, the Sweet Water is a sloop-rigged cargo vessel, slow, heavy and lightly armed, with a few passenger cabins.

After all even those that seemed to be the best behaved usually had their dark little secrets. Chiana just happened to be one of them.

It wasn't till she was 15 that her and her brother got separated. A job gone bad, one of their partners turned them in to get off scott free. And while they were trying to get away Chiana was caught. Yelling for her brother to get away, to come find her and get her when he could. She watched as he ran off. Thinking he'd come back for her soon. But as the years past and she was pasted around prison to prison. Man to man...and finally as she came up on the sale block it seemed she would be passed around masters as well. By this point she had given up on her brother, had he been caught too? Had he been killed? Or had he simply given up on her? Running away to never look back. Chiana didn't know the truth and she wasn't sure that she ever wanted to know. Besides at the moment that wasn't her problem. Now she had to worry about where she'd end up next, and who would seek to use her this go around.

When she's not immersed deep in cabbages or the thighs of a friend in the crew she likes nothing more than to pore over old sea charts, island maps and dusty tomes that hint of buried treasure. Flopsy has always claimed that out there somewhere lies the secret of "Big Dick's Treasure", Big Dick apparently being an American brown bear, "Richard Roundtum", who once ruled these waters with a cock of iron.

She likes to immerse herself in her navigational charts and books when she isn't submitting to or dominating others. She can get a little agitated if her favourite partners are folling around and she's not included - a slight jealous side to her character.

History: Flopsy was born in Amsterdam and grew up around the Dutch docks, merchants and shipbuilders. She was born to middle class moneyed family but when she was 17 she learned her father had already arranged for her a marriage to some chinless oaf of a donkey in some banking family. She ran away and hid in a crate only to wake up the next day to find herself on ship bound for Curacao in the Netherlands Antilles. The captain, a beefy Alsatian, was furious but Flopsy turned her soft bunny charms on him and became his concubine in return for a safe passage. When the ship docked she went ashore and from then on took a number of jobs aboard ships or working dockside for agents, bankers, traders and even surveyors. Her love of maps and navigation grew during this time. Her peaceful life ended one day when the cargo ship she was an agent's representative on was taken by pirates. She threw off her dress and put on a shirt and britches and pretended to be a ships lad, knowing that if she was found to be female she'd probably be raped and then disposed of. The crew she was with treated her harshly but fairly and she revealed to the pirate captain, a rat by the name of Bubonic Jake, that she was a good navigator. One night there was an uproar in the captain's cabin and to her shock one of the crew who she thought was a sadistic bastard turned out, upon opening her jacket and showing off an awesome pair, to be a sadistic bitch! Flopsy pulled off her shirt and joined her mutiny along with several other hidden females.

Flopsy's Dutch antecedents are still hinted at in her slow drawling English and her accent can slip out when she's angry or aroused.

I guessed that. What made me wonder was the way you had expanded on Nicci's rather sketchy character sheet and made the character almost infatuated with Whiskey. But the more I think about it, the more fun it's going to be, especially as Flopsy is obviously going to try and D Whiskey from time to time...

I certainly do not intend to rain on any parades, but I think the captain in the picture was meant to be a border collie. The other candid with the pistes is a border collie as well, but has a red fur color instead of black. That isn't to say the captain in the picture can't be a cat. Cats do come in every fur pattern imaginable and can have bushy tails.

Well another reason I think she is a dog is because I've seen the reference sheet for her. The five ladies in the picture are all characters of a Canadian writer, which is probably why the captain also have a blue patch of fur in the shape of a maple leaf on her pubis. What are the duties of a First Mate? Is she simply someone who takes command if the Captain is absent and passes on the captains orders to the rest of the crew?

How about its my bunny who is the navigator and is the one who knows charts, maps and the stars very well? I did put maximum effort into that section of her character - without that she isn't much of a character at all. I can delete the clingy links to the captain and let the first mate have that aspect.

Quartermaster. The QM (Q in the Bond films) of a military unit is usually the supply officer. However, I suspect that the term has become corrupted over time. The word Quarters, in modern military parlance, means where people live. But on a sailing warship, Quarters, or general quarters, is the same as battle stations. I cannot find a reference to prove it, but I suspect that the terms may be interlinked - Master at Quarters, in other words he's in charge while the ship is in battle.

The term almost certainly dates back to Roman times...

However, that article also states that not all pirate crews had the QM as second in command, or that QM and first mate could be one and the same. I think that should be the case in this case...
