I'm just thinking whether you are writing as a 3rd party or 1st party? Your post seems to have a mixture of both.

Yes, it has both.
when I am 3rd person, I am narrating my past, when I am 1st person, it's my present.
Going forward it will be 1st person only.

I tend to write in third person generally, but I'll adapt to whatever you wish for this forum.

I'm used to writing in 3rd person too so we will make do with michael writing as 1st person.

I should think the brother and sister should not have to wait for parents posting at this point... the most important action is taking place between them for now.  That doesn't mean I won't be posting, just don't want the "kids" to be waiting on us.
